Barley & Vine is exactly the kind of place you hope to find at the end of a great drive. Friendly, relaxed, and effortlessly welcoming, it was the perfect landing spot after a twisty run through the Chehalem Mountains.
Since we were a large group, we called ahead and arrived right at their 2:00 PM opening.
The food hit the sweet spot—thoughtfully prepared, satisfying without being fussy, and clearly made by people who care about what they’re serving. The beer and cider selection was solid and well-curated, and the atmosphere made it easy to settle in, swap stories, and linger longer than planned.
What really stood out was how easy they made it for a group. No eye-rolling, no chaos—just good service, good timing, and genuine hospitality. Whether you arrive by classic Mini, modern car, or sheer hunger, Barley & Vine rewards the journey.
We’ll be back—preferably with another excuse to take the long way there.

It’s a fun environment where you can sit down with a group of people and play board games or chat with just a few people. I’ve enjoyed their service and the Nachos are the best on town. Also, there is a good array of beers and ciders to choose from.

We were looking for a wine bar with fun food for a late meal while traveling, and this was perfect! Loved the warm welcome, the bottle of pinot, the ham and brie sandwich on fresh, crusty bread, and of course the nachos! A half tray was more than enough for 3 people.

This place is rad. Couldn’t recommend more of you’re interested in beer, wine, and amazing food.16 taps with a fully stocked fridge as well for more beers, wine, and ciders. To echo every other review, the nachos are fantastic. Also love to get the pretzel with beer cheese and whole grain mustard. Never gotten anything I didn’t like.

This place was recommended by the awesome tasting room staff at Soter Vineyards when I asked where they would go for lunch. Glad we stopped in, especially for the loaded carnitas nachos! Great selection of wines from all over the world and not to mention the beers on tap (mostly local brews). Service was great! The guy behind the bar (didn’t catch his name unfortunately) was very nice and great to chat with. This place is on our radar when heading down the McMinnville in the summer time.

Orders the goat cheese and bread board was really good and it came with a very good portion of cheese. Also got the cheese steak and my husband got the hot Italiansandwhich. Both were very good portions and very very good. Will be back to try other things!
