I tried giving this place a third try. I’m sorry, but as a Haitian, I am embarrassed at this restaurant. I ordered oxtail for $17 and legume for $13, never ever will I waste my money there again. I bought grio and it was good, but this oxtail is undercooked, tastes weird and only 2 plantains and $1 more for 2 plantains. Then the legume was smoked turkey. Nothing I ever watched my mom add to legume, was hard and had weird look.

I’ll update this review as I keep trying this place, but so far, 4 stars from me. I ordered through Grubhub and got the Griot meal. The rice and bean sauce was pretty good, and the meat was crispy outside and tender inside. It could use more flavor, but the gravy and pikliz more than made up for it.

The food truly sucked!! Turkey was so dry and tasteless. Tasted like rock and left over food. Lesgumes was so gross I threw it out. These people can’t cook to save their lives.

I ususlly order the Griot complete, and it seems that if it isn’ t the meat with a bad order the rice is dry and burnt with no season, today when I received my food it was bad like it sits and they serve it spoiled , You can’ t serve spoiled, old rice and expect to build clientele , THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE NEVER AGAIN, and the WIFE is rude like someone. If I could of gave zero stars I would .I ordered through Grubhub yesterday and I had to throw it away . The moment I opened the container it had a foul smell . I ordered fried turkey which was tasteless and white rice and beans . The beans had a very weird smell . The white rice smelled spoiled and the fried plantains had a very weird taste . I had to throw the whole thing away . A waste of money . Siw paka fe manje don’t have a resturant . Sa de bagay malpwop bay moun manje si . Disgusting . Then get charged for extra plantains to only get a 2 ti malere plantains . Merci okay not everyone should have restaurants . The turkey tasted like they didn’t even bother cleaning it just threw it in the fryer .

I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before ordering from this place. I ordered from ubereats and just disgusting it looked like mush. I requested they make sure there was meat in my legume as some places tend to only add veggies and mis a little meat. Yo they literally took fried chicken and added it. Also I tasted the orange mush and almost vomited from the taste. Just ew I was raised with Haitian families I’ve been around Haitian food my whole life this this is not good Haitian food. I will never order from here again first and last.
