Put our name on the waitlist at 6 on a Saturday for family of 9 and we’re told to come back at 7 so did some shopping and then sat when we arrived back after a few minutes. We came at the right time because there was live music starting as we sat down while we waited to order and for food we got to request songs and listen to some live music. To start the pretzel with cheese sauce and mustard was probably my favorite pretzel cheese sauce combination I have ever had. Drinks were super well priced especially compared to everything else in the area would come back for appetizers and drinks especially with some live music. Y’all agreed that the portions were huge and especially for the price again for the area was really good. We got the Reuben sandwich, hamburgers, the sauerbraten and kids meals. Mother enjoyed her Reuben sandwich although it was not the best we’ve had in the area. Hamburgers were huge and good. Sauerbraten meat was dry but the sauce made up for it. I got it without the red cabbage and sauerkraut so I cannot speak to that but the sauce had a really good flavor and the potatoes were cooked really well. Bread was huge and fresh. Great place for a huge meal at a lower cost for the family. Also, no automatic gratuity for our table of 9.

Classic German comfort food in a cozy, Bavarian-style setting. The menu has a good mix of schnitzel, sausages, and other hearty dishes, with generous portions and friendly service. Not fancy, but warm, filling, and a solid spot to stop while exploring Leavenworth

Great location right on the corner of the main city park. The place has a fantastic aesthetic with strong German vibes. The Bratwurst Platter was everything I hoped for excellent sauces and toppings that really made it feel like dining in a foreign country. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the Leavenworth area.

I felt blessed only having been told 30-45 min wait compared to a different German restaurant who said 1.5-2 hours wait. Then to our surprise, we really only waited 10 mins!

The food was delish! The potatoes were perfectly soft & they did not skimp on gravy/sauce.

Thank you for the kind service & a wonderful German food experience!

Great food and service and very good deal price wise. We shared a dinner entre for lunch. We were both very happy with the food and the amount we ate.

I walked from my hotel to try
the German food for dinner
and had a good experience.

I was seated after a short
wait and ordered the stuffed cabbage Rolls (Kohl Roulade) with red cabbage, sauerkraut,
and potatoes.

The menu includes German
Entrees like saurbraten and
Schnitzel, burgers, pizza,
sandwiches, pasta, salad,
dessert, and a kids menu.

I ate my house made bread and received my order in about twenty minutes without any problems.

The cabbage rolls were moist
and had nice taste to them
with the Marinara sauce.

The potatoes were not overcooked and had a nice
taste to them.

The red cabbage was a little
mushy and had a strong vinegar taste to it.

You will also find a lunch menu along with beer and wine with
appetizers.

Located on the corner of
Front and Nineth Street in
Leavenworth in a brick
building.

A nice place to dinner with
friendly service, good food, and a menu with a number
of options.

We’re simple people who like great tasting simple food. I had the chicken sandwich (cheese & bacon added) and my husband had the cheeseburger, both came with a lot of fries. Our sandwiches were delicious! The chicken wasn’t the typical chewy cheap breast served almost everywhere – it was juicy and had great flavor. Waitresses were prompt, attentive, and friendly.

Came here during the summer. It’s a roomy brick beer house. Very kid friendly and has a kids menu. I’ll be honest I came here for my husband as I am not a big German food person. But the Rouladen was excellent. I had the charbroiled chicken which was not German but pretty good. They had a call in that day and we were still treated well.

My husband and I both loved this place! The steak?? AMAZING, flavorful, juicy and cooked just right. I had the chicken Caesar salad, the chicken was flavorful and juicy as well! We’ve been to a lot of steak houses and I think this place has them all beat! Compliments to the chef!
Acacia, our waitress, was absolutely amazing, you could tell she cares a lot about her guests ❤️ thank you so much for the wonderful experience, this is a must stop place in Leavenworth!
