Average or mediocre can be loosely thrown around here but to be fair I still ate it all. You can’t really have a bad burger so we have that going. Full disclosure I can’t speak for the rest of the food take my review with a grain of salt

Ok, if you haven’t eaten the BBQ and only eaten a burger, than you have no way of rating what these guys are all about.

I am absolutely a BBQ connoisseur, to the point that I rise my own specialty meats.

My son was attending a football camp at Mines, and we were looking for a bite to eat. Everyplace was packed as there was a group of us. We stumbled across the food court by complete accident.

I didn’t have very high expectations, but hey they had sliced brisket.

Oh holy experience!

To put things in perspective, I recently returned from a business trip to Kansas City, where I ate at all the top ten rated BBQ joints. I had some amazing BBQ!

Non of them can touch the brisket that the folks at Barefoot puts out. I wish I didn’t live out of state, then again maybe it’s good I do, because I would eat here daily.

Whatever it is that these guys do,it is absolutely the best I remember having.

Don’t pass up the coleslaw either. Again off the charts!

I would love to see these in competitions, they need awards for what they do.

This was my second time ordering from this place.

First time was an OK pulled pork sandwich. Nothing spectacular, considering the price point it was very lackluster. I would have given that experience maybe 3-4 stars.

Yesterday, I tried this place a second time by ordering two double cheeseburgers. I was VERY disappointed in my order this time and likely won’t go back after this experience. It seems quality and consistency is not a major priority despite the exorbitant prices.

I got home and opened the boxes to discover my 14 $ (a piece) burgers consisted of a single, thin, VERY burnt (almost inedible) patty, a slice of cheese, a burnt bun, and 3/4 of the normal fixings missing (no lettuce, tomato, or pickles included).

The burgers were supposed to be doubles (they weren’t). The onions (only topping included) were cut into giant chunks not really suitable for a sandwich or burger.

It seemed like whoever made this had no clue what they were doing or how a burger should be made.

If I am gong to pay $14 for a burger, it better be more than a horribly burned single cheap frozen Cisco patty with no toppings included.

If a manager or CS representative reads this, I would certainly love a partial refund on my order (toasttab check #112 on Jan 16th). Considering half of what I paid for was not there and the rest was practically inedible.

Tried this at Tributary and wish I hadn’t. Is this even BBQ? Tried the underwhelming “prisket” platter (pork and brisket) for $18? The proportion of meat to sides was 1:5 maybe? Each side was nearly 2x larger than the sorry excuse for the meat I was served. The meat had no smoke flavor whatsoever and I was served mostly fat trimmings from the brisket cut which was disappointing to say the least. The sides were reaching hard and despite looking tasty the Mac and cheese and potato salad was a bust.

Texan here, where cattle is king. We judge BBQ by quality of brisket. Also a local student attending Mines. Stopped by earlier this week and was utterly disappointed. It is hard to beat Texas brisket (dry rub) but if you really care about the quality of food you provide you can do it. The brisket was days old, it seemed like it came out of the freezer. Moreover it was served to me cold. I couldnt even take it apart with my fork and in fact was so tough the fork broke in several pieces. This is not quality bbq at all not for $17.00 plate I paid for. Do not go here. Go to the other businesses around it. I swear that spot has a curse. Save your money and take a 20 min drive into the mountains to Switchback BBQ in Kittredge CO. I certify this BBQ and its brisket is the best I have had in Colorado but and it has its own original recipe.

I feel like this place is underrated. I tried the kitchen sink and it was pretty tasty. The pulled pork in particular was tender and juicy, comparing well to other places in the area. Beans and mac were pretty good as well, and at $15 everything was fairly priced for the portions I got.

Yes amazing food, I love the smoked chicken and the Mac n cheese. The tributary is a fun place with a great vibe. Downtown Golden is always beautiful no matter what time of year it is!

Just terrible everything. Pretty sure the sides come straight from a can. Probably the worst bbq I’ve ever had. Even worse than brother’s bbq. Place is laughable, over priced, and should not even exist.
