The Good: The atmosphere was pleasant, wait staff were friendly, wait for the food was not long.
The Meh: The actual food itself was just meh at best. The burger was last okay. A little dry without much taste. I was really looking forward to the strawberry shake and, for an $11 shake i was expecting it to be amazing. It was not. I could barely get through half of it. I’m not sure if it was spoiled or that’s how it was supposed to taste but it wasn’t very strawberry and just tasted gross.
The free popcorn and the fries were the best part of the meal.
The bad: The price!! Oh my goodness I spent close to $40 for a shake, burger and fries!!!! Wow.
I wanted to like it but after I got the food I was just thinking that I should have gone to shake shack and I would have been much happier.

We were craving a really good burger for dinner and decided to try this place, and it did not disappoint. The burgers were juicy with fresh toppings, the fries were great, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy. Friendly service made the whole experience even better.

Bareburger in Glastonbury, CT has a wonderful looking location. Service was really friendly and talkative. Very clean inside. However the hamburgers are OK, good, nothing really to rave about. Adding to that, it’s $19 (nineteen?!?) for a double hamburger. At that price point it should be beyond amazing. I’d say it’s worth a visit to see what you think to pay a premium price for not so premium burger.

Not only was it enjoyable to get some shopping done in the area, but our visit to Bareburger turned out to be such a wonderful family experience. The staff was absolutely amazing with my children — they immediately pointed the girls toward a free arcade game to keep them entertained and even brought over coloring sheets and crayons. It was everything we needed to just relax and enjoy a peaceful meal together.
And the food? Absolutely amazing. Every plate was completely finished, which almost never happens with kids! We even ended up sharing a slice of chocolate cake we hadn’t originally planned on ordering — totally worth it. The girls loved their milkshakes, too.
For the grown-ups, they also offer cocktails, which was a nice surprise and made the evening feel like a real treat.
We’ll definitely be back. A great stop for families, great service, and great food!

Highly recommend!!! Best burger I’ve had in years… Options are endless from Bison burgers(which I had), grass fed Elk burgers, grass fed beef burgers, and many more wonderful options. Not just burgers but plenty of options with delicious cocktails or draft beers to go with your meal. Service was incredible and very friendly. The owner made it a point to greet you,check on every table, and thanked you for coming. Very classy and professional of him. Very cozy, relaxing, with fine art work on the walls including a personal sound proof game room with PACMAN!!! DEF A REPEAT CUSTOMER!!! You leave there feeling filled in a great healthy way, NOT like you just ate at McDonald’s or some other fast food restaurant or burger place. Truly the healthiest tastiest burger I’ve had A+++++

I really love burgers. So I’m very hard on reviews. You really have to impress me to get a five star. Giving a three star doesn’t mean that they had bad food. This was my first time getting food here. I ordered my meal as a take out, but the interior has a pretty chill, rustic feel to it. Now, any time I am back in CT, I will be seeing how close I am to this place. The elk burger, fries, and milkshake were all absolutely delicious. Bare Burger will be a highlight of this trip.

We had an amazing time! The margaritas are top notch and the food is tasty, hot, comes out fast! Waitstaff were so awesome and patient. Food is incredibly mid! Wagyu doesn’t mean anything! Plus they put an onion ring in my burger which was really dry on the outside, slippery on the inside. Food is insanely expensive! I miss b.good burger. They had much better burgers for a better price.
