We were lucky to get a table here as we didn’t have a booking. The pork ribs were amazing. There was so much food. It was delicious. The service was brilliant and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was really warm and rustic. I’d highly recommend eating here if you’re in Weston- Super-Mare.

Wish I’d read the recent reviews before going! Been wanting to go for a long while and was utterly disappointed with our experience.
Our waitress was very rude and unattending.
All of the meat was microwaved, tough and dry.
They didn’t want to honour the 20% discount they advertised on Facebook as “someone posted it without authority” yet it’s been on their page for weeks.
Service charge added to bill, the audacity.

Be meaning to pop in for ages , so after the pier brought the kids in because I love anything bbq .
I just love smoked meat my two boys had the nuggets and chips kids meal great value coming with drinks the eldest said best chicken nuggets ever and he’s the most fussy person I have ever meet.
I live for burnt ends pulled pork was great and the sausage , lucky I was parked at the end in a booth and the ribs hands on I was covered in bbq sauce.
Staff really friendly and attentive.

A nice experience at bare grills. Table booked online. Seated straight away but was right beside the door and opposite the bar. Felt a bit out of place as was a meant to be an intimate meal. Did request alternative seating but none available so stayed. Anyways staff attentive and friendly and service good. Ordered the bbq tower for two which was exciting. Onion rings were delicious and fill of flavour. Really enjoyed the burgers and other meats. Beef and pulled pork was average. Beef was quite dry and over cooked. Pulled pork could’ve done with a tastier sauce, felt it was a bit bland. Nice selection of food.

Had a table of four booked on Saturday at 7:45. Arrived and shown to our table, the restaurant is a little run down imo but the staff were clearing tables. That’s as good as it gets and was downhill from here. Had to go up and ask if we order at bar or table service, after 20 mins and no drinks offer. Took drinks & food order and hour later we were still waiting for our food & at no point did any waiting staff come up to us to apologise for the wait or offer us any further drinks. There was a few other tables that were also still waiting who were before us. We asked to speak to a manager and told she wasn’t available as working in the kitchen as short staffed. We decided to leave with our two 13 year olds who by this point were both starving and disappointed. Walked two minutes to Nando’s was seated, served and food arrived within 20 mins! Avoid Bear Grylls WSM at all costs if you are hungry and actually want to to have a meal!

We stopped for some lunch here and really found the filthy pig burger tasty and the dirty fries were really nice. I will be visiting again! Good kids burger and fries meal and the cost wasn’t to bad either! They have a bar and a burger style van with plenty of seating outside across from the beach. This was all outdoor seating with some under shelter. A man who worked there went out of his way to go and get our little boy some apple juice too.
Note- There is also one around the corner which I think was the same company but it was in a building making it more restaurant style.

Ahh I hate to be a party pooper and normally I would never leave a bad review but here goes…..I ordered the king prawns and they were more shell than prawn also mushy not split down the back so the guts (black line poo) is removed. £17. My mate had ribeye £26 it was the size of an 8oz. We waited for about an hour for the food to arrive, there were 2 very young waitresses trying to run the bar and waitress upstairs. The poor girls were run ragged. It was impossible to order another drink as you can’t go to the bar. The tables are tiny and the chairs are made of wood and steel. It’s dated and needs a complete overhaul. The only thing that does taste super lovely is the beef burnt ends. Overall we were there for 1 and a half hours and it was rubbish. Service super bad…not the waitress fault….food bad……£120. It was rubbish.

We visited yesterday . We were very lucky to get a table as it is a very busy place and we can see why . The burgers are amazing , Mississippi king prawns are also fabulous . We upgraded to dirty fries which were also delicious . Great place , loads of fantastic food . Great service by lovely friendly staff . Our server was Caitlyn , very efficient and welcoming .
We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area .

Was visiting Weston for a long weekend and booked to eat here on the Sunday evening after reading the great reviews. Booked table for 5.30pm and actually called that afternoon to ask to push back until 7pm if possible. Woman who answered said they could do 6.45 as had a big table in at 7pm, absolutely fine!
Arrived about 5 minutes early, one table literally walked in just before us but other than that it was empty. Waitress had no record of our booking, said we could eat but only had an hour. Bit of a sour start but was excited to try the food. Both ordered T-Bone steaks medium rare. Both came verging on Blue, initial taste was good and whilst my partner isn’t too picky I couldn’t eat mine.
Waitress checked back and I explained it was just too rare, she went and spoke to the chef (who frankly looked like he would rather be anywhere else in the world than there) and they offered either 50% off the cost of the steak or another steak cooked but they had run out of T-Bone. Surprising when they had the ‘large table’ booked in.
Really, really disappointing experience here. Didn’t see any sign of a large table and as we left another family were turned away. Can’t help but think this was an excuse for an early finish.
Have worked in hospitality for over 20 years and service wise, this was one of the worst. Clearly one of the few bad experiences according to reviews but disappointing all the same.

Amazing time at this venue made us all feel very welcome. Accommodated us with our children of various ages. Went above and beyond to give us amazing service. Food was fantastic and the boss lady couldn’t do it enough for us. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area visiting or local
