We used Bare Bones BBQ to cater our New Year’s Eve family celebration, and it was hands down one of the best catering decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment I picked up the food, you could tell how much care and skill goes into everything they make. The portions were generous, and the smell alone had everyone excited before we even started eating. We ordered for 16 people: 2 trays of brisket, 1 tray or ribs, and one tray of the sides. It was more than enough food and we had plenty of leftovers for January 1st.
The brisket was outstanding: perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, and full of rich flavor without being overly fatty.
My brother in-law remarked that this is the BEST brisket he has had outside of Texas. The ribs were a total crowd favorite, with meat that literally fell right off the bone and a sauce that balanced smoky, sweet, and savory perfectly. The island rice was a pleasant surprise for many of our guests and paired so well with the BBQ, adding a unique and flavorful twist to the meal.
We also loved that the sides were just as memorable as the main dishes. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and comforting, with just the right texture, not dry at all, and everyone had seconds. The grilled vegetables were fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right, making them a great option for guests who wanted something lighter without sacrificing flavor.
Every single guest commented on how amazing the food was, and many asked where it came from. Bare Bones BBQ truly helped make our New Year’s Eve celebration special, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re considering them for catering or even just a regular meal, don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.

Outstanding food. Creative recipes. Everything made in house and you can tell. Brisket was buttery delicious. Ribs were excellent. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Even the fries had a special something. The fat toast – amazing. Can’t say enough about this place. Service was excellent – friendly and helpful. Just a phenomenal place to get unique, great bbq.

I went this evening to Bare Bones BBQ. After reading all the reviews I had to go and try it out for myself. Unfortunately, my family and I were disappointed. We ordered baby back ribs, mac & cheese, and collard greens. The collard greens were quite salty and the mac was too creamy. However the side portion size was good.
The ribs had very little meat on them and also it wasnt “fall off the bones” as I was lead to believe. The sauce was quite aqueous.
The atmosphere was nice but music was quite loud and the table was dirty.
The lady in the front gave a sort of indifferent vibe. Not really a warm welcome. She lacked customer service skills.
Overall I dont see myself coming back to this establishment anytime soon.

Had an amazing meal here: brisket was the best I’ve ever had, so juicy and tender! The beef rib was fall off the bone. For sides we had the mac and cheese which was amazing, the Mexican corn and the sweet and tangy coleslaw. All were terrific. The service was excellent and the owner was awesome. They have expanded the dine in area and it looks great. There are three or four large TVs hanging up for your entertainment. Great place and I highly recommend.

So I ordered delivery and I ordered the rib sandwich. I ordered the burnt ends, and I ordered the jerk pork. You tell me $14 You get 2 ribs. For a sandwich This is insane. I would never order from this place ever again. As long as I’ve been ordering rib sandwiches from other establishments. I never got too ribbed ribs for a sandwich. This is ridiculous.

This is the best BBQ in South Broward possibly all of Broward. Everything here is a 10 out of 10, food is flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. They now have a dine-in option and the new menu items are excellent. Today I tried the burnt ends (they did not disappoint) but seriously everything on the menu is superb. 5 Stars

One of the most underrated BBQ joints in all of South Florida. This place truly knows how to serve up some delicious BBQ, family reunion style! The meats are packed with a punch of flavor, ranging from baby back ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork, and more. The side dishes aren’t too crazy, but they are still pretty good. This is a really great place to go for dinner or lunch or maybe even for catering needs, as they have a variety of options. The business is currently undergoing construction work inside, as they are expanding to create the perfect dining experience. But fret not, they still have seats available to sit down and eat. This place is a 10/10!

My family came here on a whim to try out a new BBQ spot closer to home and we were glad we did. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The food was good and they had generous portions. We had the brisket, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, collard greens, and cornbread. Everything was great, and even my picky 2-year-old ate the brisket. We will definitely be back.
