The facility was nice and clean upon arrival. There was no greeting from the staff. We placed our order and grabbed a seat. The food came out fairly quickly but I need to emphasize that it was mid Sunday afternoon so there was not much foot traffic. The food came out and they forgot an order of onion rings. That came out later and was hot and crispy. The beef burger was only “ok”. The bun was dry and the cheese had been sitting out and was also room temp and had developed its oily shine with dried out corners. It definitely did not taste good and the cheese did not look like it was kept within kitchen food storage protocols. The chicken sandwich was dry. No other way to say it. It tasted like it was cooked to near hockey puck condition and thrown under a heat lamp. We chewed through the sub par food and left. We will never return.

Stopped in at Bardstown Burger while passing through town. It’s a casual, small-town spot with a friendly vibe and simple setup — order at the counter, grab a seat, and they’ll bring your food out. Just note that street parking is the only option, and indoor seating is limited, so it can fill up quickly during lunch hours.
I tried the Outlaw Burger (with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, and onion rings) and a side of crinkle-cut fries. The burger was fine, but pretty average overall. It wasn’t crispy like a smash burger or thick and juicy like a gourmet-style burger — more of a greasy, flat-top grilled patty on a basic bun that wasn’t toasted or grilled. The flavors were decent, just nothing that stood out. Fries were standard crinkle-cut, hot but plain.
For the price, it’s an okay spot if you’re local or nearby, but not something I’d drive out of my way for. A perfectly decent burger joint, just not one that hits that “wow” level.

Amongst several good burger options in Bardstown, this place stands a head above the others. Classic, well prepared smash burgers, crispy crinkle cut fries and fairly priced across the board.

Very simple but delicious lunch of grilled cheese and onion rings I shared with my guy. Lovely location, ate at a picnic table in the open air. Server brought our food and it was a good value. Streamlined menu.

Wanted a burger – reviews sounded good so we stopped in . No regrets . It’s small but they do have outside seating. Burgers were exceptional. Love that the buns were toasted . I had their grill chicken husband had the burger .

Decent burger joint. Their serving is simple and small and price is adjusted to reflect the same. Burgers tasted like they should be, flavorful meat and cheese. My guess, local ingredients made it taste better than many other places at comparable price. Can get busy considering they have very few sitting places. Food came out fast.

Very small. We had a party of six and there’s only one table that would accommodate that. I got the chicken sandwich and it was excellent. The fries were nice and crispy just the way we ordered. Onion rings were excellent.

The food here is good. We ordered the Bardstown burger and Outlaw burger, one with fries and one with onion rings. They did bring both with fries and I had to ask for them to correct my order. The place is small inside but there is a good bit of seating.
