We had a great dining experience at Barcelona Wine Bar Stamford. Every thing was delicious and fresh. Service was fantastic, attentive and friendly. We sat outside which was way less noisy than indoors. Chicken Pimientos was my favorite, imo a must try. But really everything we tried including the drinks were very delicious.

I visited Barcelona with my family, six of us , everyone loved the dishes. Amanda was our server and she is very funny. Like I told her, she takes a dinner and turns it into a true experience. Update, Wife and I making our way back to NJ, stopped back in Sunday night, our 2nd visit and it couldn’t have been better and we were hoping Amanda was working, success! – perfect wine recos, 1/2 off wine, light snacks. Amanda’s our favorite! Good time. Ask for Amanda she’s excellent start to finish. Solid restaurant.
Drove in from Jersey and stopped by Barcelona last Tuesday, and it was a great visit. We got there shortly after they opened around 4, so it was pretty quiet, but the tapas were excellent and service was well executed. The highlight, though, was Amanda at the bar making juice. She wasn’t our server, but she made the experience that much better, she was the experience. She was engaging and witty, we loved her. This is our new stopping point when we pass through.

I went to Barcelona with my husband while on a work trip last week and was blown away! I felt as if I was in Barcelona itself! The servers were incredibly kind and hospitable. They shared their favorite dishes and drinks with us and welcomed us warmly. I felt as if we were at their house and not just as restaurant.
We went and tried a little of everything. All drinks and tapas which transformed my taste buds to another dimension. If I could order everything on the menu I would. But my wallet and pants would not allow! . We not only made sure to go back a second time before the end of our trip, but we ordered different dishes the second time to try even more, and nothing disappointed! The spices were so flavorful. I loved everything.
Even dessert was incredible. Please try the olive oil cake with a cortado. It will end the night on a blissful note.
Tip your servers on the high end. Write a good review. This place is absolutely perfect. If I lived in Stamford I would come here every week. My husband does have to go back in November and I can’t wait to go just to frequent Barcelona! ☺️.

The well seasoned veggie appetizers, well cooked sausages, chicken and crab, crunchy bread with olive oil, phenomenal desserts like the olive oil cake… I can go on, but my favorite part about visiting this location is the absolutely amazing service from Alex. Alex makes you feel like you’re visiting home and you’re well taken care of. The way Alex takes care of all of the tables and makes you feel like family is the cherry on top. Alex knows the variations of grapes for wine flavors so if you’re a wine drinker, this is the place for you. In addition, the cocktails are so well made you feel like you’re at a high end wine bar with the relaxed vibes. (Thank you Jocelyn for training Alex and thank you Alex for taking care of your customers and providing a consistently wonderful experience visit after visit!)

I can’t give this Barcelona location enough stars!!! I have tried a few of their other locations, all of which were amazing in their own ways, but Stamford will always have my heart. The staff here is out of this world and their customer service is undefeated. Chris is such an amazing manager and always greets my party and I with the warmest greeting. Everything runs smoothly with him around. Alex is one of my favorite servers and I will never cease to be amazed by his excellent memory. He is always on top of everything and so accommodating and friendly.
The food here is like none other! I can never get enough of this place! They offer free bread and olive oil – who doesn’t love that?! The menu staples and changes are never a disappointment, and are always so fresh. Don’t even get me started about the dessert. My experience is not complete without the olive oil cake! The ambiance here is unmatched and truly is a vibe. They stay open pretty late during the week too which is awesome!
