Great place for tapas! Service was great and Leslie’s recommendations was definitely on point. Food was great. We tried the bacalao, the goat cheese with tomato sauce, beef skewers, the meatballs, and the mussels. The goat cheese and bacalao was the best. Definitely try those out. There was a bit of was a bit of a wait for the food, but as always the good food takes time!!

I was really looking forward to trying something new with my husband on Mother’s day but this restaurant fell short on this day.. First the hostess seemed annoyed when she sat us down, then it took forever to get a server to get to us.. it wasn’t too busy, then longer for our drinks, when we got our food the calamari was grest!! The salmon horrible as it was so dry and no seasoning.. seeing as we weren’t getting any service we just left, and ate elsewhere..bad service, blah food..not going back.

This is easily my favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The goat cheese (as pictured) is to die for, and the ambiance of the restaurant is not only true to Spanish cuisine, but feels homey after the many events I have shared there. I would also recommend going on a night with live music. I have never had a bad experience here in the many years I have been eating at this restaurant.

BARCELONA, home of Tapas, which translates to “small plate”. Wide spectrum of menu options. Indoor/outdoor seating with a nice view of the business commerce district.

#Barcelona…great happy hour specials! Due to a misunderstanding we were given the marinaria and soft, melted goat cheese as a free/bonus snack- I hate goat cheese but it was amazing!
