We stopped in here at lunchtime. Doesn’t matter the time, they still serve breakfast! My husband had eggs over easy, wheat toast, sausage links, and coffee. He said everything was excellent. I had the cheesesteak hoagie, which is on Mancini‘s bread. I was very impressed with the hoagie, it was cooked perfectly, the lettuce and tomato were very fresh and delicious tasting… The whole sandwich was delicious tasting!

Stopped in to check this place out as I drove by one weekend. A little rustic dinner close to Main St. in Carnegie. A couple weeks later my mother suggested we stop in for breakfast. We did and WOW! Everything we had was awesome. A hidden little gem. Mom and I both had Coffee to start. It was fresh ground and tasted legit top notch. Tasty and smooth is how I would describe it. I had a mushroom cheese omelette wich was perfectly done. It had the perfect mix of egg, cheese and mushrooms. I tried the pancakes and bacon mom ordered and they were also excellent. Pancakes were perfectly done, appropriately fluffy and tasty. Bacon was also great! Just the right thickness and done nice and crispy. I saw a Tribune Review award on the wall for 2020 best diner and can’t argue with that. A awesome little hometown place. I will definitely be back.

Went years ago never went back. I just read a review from a husband and wife that were refused seating because of having a service dog. We will never go back now. Thanks for your service Mr. Veteran.

What Barb’s may have been lacking in terms of an updated environment it made up for in both service and small town feel. A place locals go where the prices can’t be beat. The friendly smiles made the trip worth the stop.

Barbs is what you think of when you think home cooked meal. Her food is so amazing, and you absolutely cannot beat the prices! Do yourself a favor and stop on at Barbs next time you’re in the Carnegie area!

Absolutely amazing experience at Barb’s Country Junction Cafe! I love it here! If you’re looking for a “hole in the wall”, low key diner, this is your place. The staff is very friendly, the food is amazing and prices are just right. I ordered breakfast and was very happy with the quality. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!
