Had lobster dinner there last night. The salad was fresh and crispy. The lobster was served with a baked potato, steamed broccoli, and carrots.

This used to be my favorite place to go years ago. I love going there for burgers and French fries.

CASH ONLY. SMOKING. Beer prices were quite high ($9 for 1 bottle and 1 can). So we left after that. The guy referred to typical popular beers (Voodoo Ranger, Victory Brewing) as “the weird ones”, which made me chuckle. So if Miller Light and Budweiser with a cigarette while playing electronic lotto games is your thing, this is the place. But for anyone under the age of 60?… eh, might wanna go somewhere else.

You can’t even hear the music and if they have a dress code must have it on the front door.

I love this place , known the owners since I was a lil chubby kid, asking Older Frankie for a cheeseburger thru the back window of the kitchen, ..Great atmosphere, family Restaurant/Bar for a quick meal or drink..last time I was in, there was a pool table & dart board, & old time juke box..to play ur fave tunes on..I Dunno if they still have it on menu , but ask for Joanie’s “Poor man’s lobster” so good w butter.

I’m not a big fan. I asked for two shots of Patron and dropped a $20 on the table and only got a dollar back, I just let it go and said keep the tip, lol. The one of the bar tenders kept telling my buddy that he wasn’t familiar with some of the drinks of head. If you want a place to just chill with less crowds, this is the place. They have a pool table, TV to watch sports, music machines, etc…

How many neighborhood bars have you been to? How many of those places are welcoming if you’ve been there once, ten or a hundred times? With good, incredibly cheap food AND a pool table? And you can do your laundry next door! With a personable, caring owner who is there day in and day out? This is the epitome of a neighborhood bar. The jukebox is great as well! Don’t let the appearance fool you, this is one of the greatest spots you will find in the Reading area.

As soon as I walked in I could tell I should’ve walked right back out.. but we gave it the benefit of the doubt, sat down, tried to get a drink from the dirty male bartender.. took forever so we left. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE! Dirty!
