Best burrito I’ve had in Charlottesville—holy cow. I got the regular burrito with no added guac, and it was incredible. The portion size is massive, easily enough to make two meals if you want. The flavors were so good, and I loved having four different hot sauce options to pair with it. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of or tried this place sooner. Will definitely be back.

Best tacos (and burritos and bowls if that’s what you’re into) around, honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere! The salsa is amazing (you can join Barbie’s salsa club, for those in the know). Keep your extra salsa (or order an extra cup) and try it on your eggs over the weekend. The chips are amazing, handmade, hand-salted, so salty and good. Barbie runs the whole shebang alone so I don’t want to overwhelm her with business, but she’s so good I have to let others know! She’s right by the Belmont Bridge, easy walk from downtown, well well worth the small walk (or park under the bridge for free and take advantage of the delicious tacos there before you visit the mall).

Just went here after work bc it was next to a job. Stopped in with my partner who was nearby, just what was close.Barbie was very kind and funny and made great food. Will be bringing my friends here. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but I was impressed.

Barbie is super friendly and attentive! The food was amazing, the guac tostada was piled high with beans, guac, radishes, cabbage and lettuce, and everything was very fresh. The hard taco and tostada shells were nice and crispy. The interior is small (14 seats total) and the outdoor eating area is right next to construction right now, but totally worth the trip to this sorta hidden gem.
