Everyone raved about this place, so it was our first stop in Virginia. My husband ordered the chicken, and it was good. I got the combo with brisket and pork belly. Both mine were so dry that I nearly choked trying to swallow. Although the chicken was good, well try somewhere else for bbq.

Oh man, this place gets a well deserved 5 stars. Customer service is on point and very courteous. The decore goes with the barbecue pit theme. Food is probably one of the top BBQ places in the Virginia. Great for the whole family. Prices are moderate. I strongly recommend.

Every time I’ve pass through Gordonsville, I see this popular bbq spot and think I’m going to stop there someday. Today was the day! Besides the obvious outdoor dining space, there are plenty of tables inside near where the order & serving line is. The menu contains a wide variety of barbecued items. I went to the top of the board and chose a pulled pork sandwich w an order of fries (VA Sweet Fries). I learned that there are choices to be made for types of slaw & pickles. Several in-house sauces are at the picnic style tables. My sandwich was thick w pork, and ate juicy and tasted great, especially when slaw & sauce were added. I enjoyed the mustard pickles and the spicey slaw. The fries were coated with their house rub spices, which made them crunchy & exceptional good. I had a very good meal.

This was our first time and we absolutely loved it! The staff gave great suggestions and the food was excellent! The pastry chef gave us free desserts because it was our first time! We were so touched by the friendly and family-like atmosphere! We will be telling our friends and will definitely be back!

Not what we expected when we first walked in but the food here was GREAT! I shared the 3 meat brisket, ribs, and pork belly and sides of mac & cheese, baked beans, green beans, and cole slaw with my mom. Everything tasted soooo good and we definitely left with full bellies! Meats were super tender and all the sides were awesome. Whole family was happy with what they got!

Great little bbq spot. Fast casual ordering experience where you order and get your food then go sit down. The meat was the best part! The mac n cheese was solid. The potato was decent but I would probably get the baked beans next time. Staff was really friendly. I love supporting these local businesses!

We came here on a Saturday later afternoon, and it took a while to get the food since there were many people in line. Chicken, sausage link and ribs were okay. Onion rings were not much flavorful. Fried green tomato could be a bit oily but still delicious. Overall, I think it’s an average BBQ place. (Follow me on IG ➡️ miss_dawang)
