Have been coming here for quite a few years, after tonight, it’s the end of an era for us. The tea was sour, fires were COMPLETELY grease soaked as USUAL (come on y’all) burger was as dry as baby powder and couldn’t even make it as ordered. The only thing y’all have going for you, or DID, was the sweet little gal at the drive-thru and she has been MIA the last few times. Adios!

I decided to take my man to Bbq Shack for Veterans Day. He was highly disappointed. His fish was on top of his fries that cause the fries to be soggy. The fish was hot and it was good to him. The baked potato is where he was VERY upset. The baked potato look like it was just put in the container and didn’t even look appetizing nor was it hot. That meal was $17. I guess we won’t be back unless it’s in the building where he can show them.

It’s honestly hit or miss most of the time. Shack tater is great and I like the bbq sandwiches. Service is ok and sometimes not great. Probably the most reliable bbq choice in Paragould.

We do like the fish and fries and the cook is nice, BUT the boy behind counter today needs a lesson on how to talk to customers that have a question about the bill. I always drink water, was charged $1.99 for a glass of water. All they had was tea or water. We asked when did they start charging for water, reply by the young man was” hey, all I do is push buttons”. Well, he pushed mine right then. We got up and left, and will never be back.

The register boy was very helpful. The food was not great and the waitress was awful. I normally love bbq shack it’s my favorite place to eat. She forgot our salad dressing and got mad because I politely ask for it. Then we asked for crackers and sauce for the cheese sticks . She literally bite my head off how busy she was and didn’t have time to wait on us. And huffed off. Really I would have been good with her telling me where to get some. The other table even heard her and commented. And the flies were everywhere. I know it’s fly season but do something to thin them out . Not a good experience when you have to cover your food between bites. I’m not even a germ freak. My friend had a bad experience last week but was willing to give them another try. They lose her business and mine. Did they get new owners??? We had problems a few months back but then it got better now this.
