Used to be one of the best in town but I think someone new is making the sauce. I got a pasta dinner but couldn’t eat it because the sauce tasted like sugar. A week later I got one of my favorite pizzas to find out the pizza sauce also tastes like pure sugar. I’ll try again in a couple weeks but if it’s the same sauce then after enjoying Barbato’s for over 40 years I’ll have to call it the end of an era.

August 2023 – We were in the area for the last free weekend before football/school and were told by the hotel staff where we stayed that this place had good food…they have great food! My husband and son had the Chicken Alfredo, my daughter had the small 6 slice pizza with sausage and pepperoni, and I had a pepperoni calzone. Awesome! We were very pleased! The gentleman that waited on us was very friendly! Will definitely be one we visit again.

Pizza and Wings are always a safe bet, never had a bad meal here, usually stop in every month or 2 to get lunch for my coworkers, manager’s always behind the counter in the trenches with his crew, nice guy. Good local place!

Had a fresh dough pizza,looked like a 2 year old made it.A mess,hardly any toppings.One order of wings had a wing missing.Even though the food was good.The presentation was sad.Prices are way too high for what you get.Disappointed.

Having such a bad day till we stopped by this place on the way home. The guys were wonderful. Seating and service was absolutely amazing. And the food!!!!! 🙂 huge servings that tasted like someone put so much love into it. The buffalo wings tasted like buffalo wings !!! First time I ever tasted wings like that we’re not from western NY! The zucchini fries cooked to perfection! I could go on but this is just to tuch on the appetizers. The meal was awesome and made my heart sing. I’m going out of state just to stop by here again. Thanks Guys!!

I was disappointed. My son wanted pizza for lunch. There was a Blaze Pizza nearby but I looked for a mom and pop place nearby, figuring the pizza would be a lot better. It usually is. Online it showed that the place opens at 11 a.m. I called at 10:50 am. The guy that took my order said they didn’t open until 11:15 so my order would be ready at 11:20. ??? I said ok and waited for it. I go in to get it and the guy is friendly. I see the box looks like a medium and I ordered a large. So I asked, “this is a large?” The guy said yes, 14 inch. It didn’t even fit the whole box. It cost almost $15.00 for a large half pepperoni, half cheese. I saw on the sign they prefer cards because of the virus. I hand him my debit card, then see a sign that a fee of 5% is added to all card purchases. Hmm. So I thought, this better be some really good pizza. I ordered it easy on the sauce, and I know the guy knew that because when I picked it up he said one large, easy on the sauce. It was opposite. It looked like they put extra sauce. Honestly, I’ve had better frozen pizzas. The sauce was blah, no flavor. The only good thing was it was made fresh at least.

Only one person showed up for work on the day we stopped.He couldn’t have been nicer and prepared our lunch quickly. We were very impressed ! We’ve been back several times since and are very pleased with the food and service each time.
