This was my second time at Barbarie’s Black Angus Grill, and it was just as impressive as the first. The service is impeccable and the staff is incredibly professional and friendly. We had the Tomahawk cooked to perfection (perfect medium-rare) and it was mouth-watering delicious. It’s rare to find such consistency, but they nailed it again! Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates great service and even better steak!

This was my second time coming here because I really wanted to give it another chance, but unfortunately I was disappointed again. I ordered the tomahawk steak and it was honestly the worst steak I’ve had it tasted burnt and lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes weren’t the greatest , and the asparagus was still pretty hard and undercooked.

The only thing I truly enjoyed was my glass of wine. On a positive note, the customer service was good and the staff was attentive and kind. I just wish the food had matched the level of service. I really wanted this second visit to be better, but sadly it wasn’t.

First time here . Was a busy Friday night considering the holiday V day weekend . Love the cozy atmosphere . Our server Daniel was top shelf .. start to finish , funny , attentive and professional . Had the tomahawk for 2 with asparagus and sweet potato . Steak was Cooke perfectly as were the sides . Had crème brûlée for dessert . That was excellent . The cookie skillet came out overcooked but our server fixed it right away . A top notch place . No wonder why it’s such a popular place .

We recently held a memorial birthday gathering for our beloved family member who passed away, and the entire staff was absolutely incredible.

Jamie was so helpful and patient while coordinating everything over the phone and through email. She made the planning process smooth and stress-free during such an emotional time for our family.

The day of, Jada and Joe were our servers, and they were simply amazing. They were kind-hearted, attentive, respectful, and genuinely compassionate. They wore a smile on their face the entire time and went the extra mile with any requests our party had. On a day that was heavy for us, they handled everything with such grace and care.

Their kindness truly stood out. This is how I wish all interactions were at restaurants, they set the bar high. We are so grateful for their professionalism and their hearts.

Thank you for helping us honor our family member in such a beautiful way.

I just had my wedding in the area this past weekend & have to give Barbarie’s a shout out for their part in making it so great! From the rehearsal dinner to the “after party” to a little family brunch the day after the wedding, everything was phenomenal. The food & drinks were amazing! What especially stood out to us was their team. Everyone was so kind, helpful, organized & truly went above & beyond to make each event perfect. They are pros at what they do & everyone was so impressed. Jamie helped us plan everything & was super communicative. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined!

The “Chef’s Special” was not so special.

I went to Barbarie’s Black Angus Grill for my birthday and ordered the Surf & Turf – 16oz Ribeye and Lobster Tail, but the ribeye literally had ZERO flavor. It was so tasteless I actually suspected that I may have been served a different cut of steak. Don’t be fooled by the photo. Looks can be deceiving.

I read the reviews before selecting this restaurant and had high expectations, but it was a complete let down. I considered sending the dinner back (something I have never done before), but I arrived at the restaurant at 9pm and the grill closed around 9:45pm so I decided against it.

I will say, the lobster tail was delicious and I enjoyed my seared scallops appetizer, but I find it unacceptable for the ribeye – the most expensive item on the menu – to be completely tasteless and felt compelled to write a review after my experience.

I moved out of town, so it had been about 8 years since I was last at Black Angus. I went this weekend for Sunday brunch and couldn’t believe that they still offer the 3 course brunch for only $30. I had the caesar salad, swordfish and clams linguine, and the bread pudding. Everything was phenomenal! I got a nice sized filet of swordfish that was cooked perfectly. The portion was so large that I took half of it to go. Highly recommend!

I was there for new year dinner with my family. Our waiter was nice.

We were there because I really wanted a good steak that day. 90 dollars steak was horrible, crust turned into charcoal and extremely salty.

Linguine and Eggplant Parm with vodka sauce, Stuffed Lobster, sauteed Green beans, Mashed potatoes, Mac n Cheese, Crisp Onion and a few others were good.

Waiters got distracted (probably because busy New Year time) : had to wait about 10 minutes for to-go boxes, waited 15 minutes for banana pudding pudding I ordered to go, turned out that no one was prepping the order. So, I had to wait 5 more minutes since I already paid.

BTW, Next morning I tasted the pudding. It was the most worse bread pudding I’ve ever had.

I spent over 300 for 3 people plus tips but it was disappointing overall.

I grew up in this neighborhood but surprisingly have never tried this place! But I’m very glad I did as the food was excellent. The steaks are very well cooked and flavorful and I found the other dishes (french onion soup and fried burrata) to be equally as delicious.

The service and ambiance of the restaurant are also great! Solid spot to take out family or for a date. Will be back!

We wanted a special meal for our 44th anniversary, and Barbarie’s “knocked it out of the park!” It was a Friday night and busy, and we chose to eat on the patio. Our server was very attentive and prompt. The food was perfect. I ordered the small bacon wrapped filet, and my husband had the crab topped swordfish. Both were absolutely superb! We finished by sharing a beautiful plated carrot cake. Barbarie’s definitely is a place I’d recommend, and we will definitely be returning!
