Awesome drive in with awesome service. All the wait staff was friendly. Delicious homemade root beer. The burgers were even better. We came back to back days. Will definitely be coming back. Tons of ice cream options. Popular spot at all times.

The vibe and service were on point, so that made up for the rest. I got the cheeseburger—patty was straight, but that potato bun? Nah, not for me. My wife chomped a regular burger, ate it up, so I guess it was chow. All in all, it was…….., could’ve been better.

I’ve always wanted to stop on my way to houghton, but it never worked out before last weekend. So happy we could stop!
Great burgers, curly fries, and the BEST onion rings

We loved our stop at the Baraga Drive-In! The food was tasty! Especially the fries and chicken nuggets. The outdoor seating was perfect for a summer day, and the staff was kind. Great place for a family treat!

The don’t make ’em like this any more! The drive-in offers car-side ordering and service, plus there’s a small patio for dining. The burgers, fries and malts were all quite good. Glad we stopped here!

Excellent prices for an old style drive in experience! House made root beer is fantastic! This place blows most burger joints out of the water. Its definitely a childhood staple for any family in the area with their ice cream menu and carbide service right next to lake superior. One of our favorite family owned places to stop when we visit!

Amazing food and service! I happened to come on a Tuesday night and they were having a car show I didn’t even know about! They have it every Tuesday during the summer so stop in if you’re into cars! My only “complaint” (in quotes because it’s not really a complaint) is that they no longer serve with the window trays like they did years ago. It’s just in a bag now. The food is still just as delicious though!

A fun experience and the food was good. We had cheeseburgers and while the burger patties were thin, overall it was an above average tasting burger. I would guess that it’s the best burger in the small town of Baraga. Fiancé also had root beer and a flurrie and I had a hot fudge sundae that i couldn’t finish and the bill was $25. We ate in our car but there is a lovely patio with picnic tables and hanging baskets of geraniums to create a pleasant atmosphere. Service was great too. We wanted to buy tshirts the waitresses were wearing but she said they were having trouble even getting enough for the staff. If they could get them in different colors, I think they would sell to tourists. We were camping at the Baraga state park next-door. The only suggestion for improvement would be to play some oldies music instead of the heavy metal that was playing.

Very much enjoyed the food and service. Was my very first drive up restaurant experience. Will definitely be back. Big mouth burger 2 patties 3 cheeses and bacon less then 11 bucks.

Update:
Not sure what happened but the burgers are not good as they once were. I order simple, no need to put so much ketchup and mustard I have to scrape it off with a napkin to try n eat it. Curly fires were good, service was good. Burger didn’t taste the best, maybe cheap meat? Idk but my parents loved the steak sandwich special. So that’s good snd the Rootbeer was good still.
great home brewed rootbeer. Food is good too, old fashion service from your car. check it out, nice little place esp if you are passing through / traveling and want a quick easy bite to eat.
