Really nice French/Moroccan spot. Immediately greeted by incredibly welcoming staff. It was nice and vibrant inside with a beautiful bar area. As someone who doesn’t drink I was really glad to see they had mocktails. I got the Berry Sour and truly enjoyed it.

We started with the meatballs that came with pita bread. They were nice and moist and paired with the pita makes for a fun sandwich option or dip the pita in the sauce if you’d prefer.

I got the French Dip sandwich and devoured it. Very much loved the place and would go again.

Lively establishment with a nice variety of choices on the menu. Quite busy but we never felt rushed. Dessert was the highlight of the meal. Also loved the French Onion Soup.

Neighborhood gem frequented by long-standing customers on Sundays. It has a homely vibe elevated by cozy interiors. Loved the baked eggs, wished I asked for extra merguez sausage. Cocktails are pretty standard at reasonable prices.

Service was pretty quick and servers were attentive. It can be a bit noisy at peak times but nothing too unpleasant.

This cozy restaurant radiates neighborhood pride and charm. I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday and ended up staying a few hours to get some work done. My server was incredibly kind and patient, even as I took a few calls during my visit. The space was filled with longtime regulars. The staff greeted them with genuine warmth and respect. It was refreshing to see.

I ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken, and it was impeccable. So full of flavor! The manager checked in a few times, adding a thoughtful touch that made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Everything about this place exudes care and community. A true West Village gem!

Don’t come here- spend your money and time anywhere else!

Waiter was great, manger was uncaring and very dismissive, rude and you can see this through his response of this review.

I’m in disbelief by this restaurants standard for acceptable food to serve paying customers.
I came towards the later end of happy hour, and chose to wait as well as communicated that I had interest in the dinner menu instead of the lunch happy hour menu. Although the restaurant was close to empty, I overheard my waiter being asked “when and if I was ordering”, which he explained I was waiting for dinner it was after 4:50 pm. I ordered escargot and salmon.

I ordered an appetizers and entree of escargot (to my regret) and salmon.
I have NEVER had escargot to this poor of standard, why is this on the menu if it cannot be made properly?!? this should not be called escargot. Escargot does not come in a light green sauce with no flavor, minimal herbs and a lack of butter and garlic!!!
The first order of escargot I had to send back, why? Because they didn’t microwave the “sauce” enough beforehand and it had the layer of film from not reheating a liquid enough and the snail (not in shell) itself was cold. I’ve never in my life been to a French restaurant that microwaves escargot. But, if you go here expect this to be completely acceptable. The sauce was light green, very similar light green coloring as the taco sauce you receive from a take out restaurant, tasting nothing like escargot butter, garlic, parley – none of those flavors.

The entree- salmon over spinach, beets and lentils…… this was ordered prior to the worst escargot I’ve ever been presented with at an establishment that presents to be a French restaurant. The salmon was cooked perfectly, however when met with the big green giant frozen spinach as well frozen diced carrots I had lost my appetite, and was more than disappointed with this utter lack of care for the food that leaves the kitchen. Clearly there is a lack of standards, and honestly they should be ashamed of serving this to someone in a restaurant.

The food here is horrific, no I did not get food poisoning but the complete and ultimate disregard for serving customers quality food is not a requirement for this establishment. This “French restaurant” did not even have the decency to attempt to microwave the food to a warm or even hot temperature, there are food safety and heating temperature requirements!

They did not have respect for paying customers, which we are not only paying money but time, I could have eaten fast food had better food and ran errands instead of wasting time here expecting a somewhat decent meal.

Let me be clear, the 1 appetizer and 1 entree were both not eaten more than 3 bites per course, less than 10%. The dismissive uncaring manager did remove these items from the bill without request but did not have the care to even ask the kitchen or taste the food that was returned (yes – managers do this- it’s common). They asked if I wanted anything else but after 3 awful dishes, why would I continue to waste my own time and money here?

In addition, I also overheard how my service was a waste of time and cost them money, clearly in ear shot of me.

My waiter was good and I feel bad that the management and kitchen staff are so poor and push the staff to have a high turnover at 5pm in a non busy establishment, that serves food that a bodega could make better

Ordered Coq au Vin – it was dry and the sauce wasn’t seasoned well. The appetizers were good (calamari, Caesar salad). My date’s pita wrap was also good. Our waiter (girl) barely came to our table after we ordered and we waited over 20 min to be served second drinks. We after that, we had an assistant try to get her to come but didn’t. Ended up not getting a bottle of wine. I didn’t finish the food, I wasn’t hungry for it. One of the waiters (guy with longer hair) apologized, but he actually served us with the most hospitality.

The atmosphere is great and the staff is so friendly and professional. I found the food a bit basic for the price but could be just my opinion. They could also work out some beers specials, I am sure they will get more customers if they do so.

Don’t go here if you want mediocre food masquerading as French food. Nothing authentically French about this place. The tomato fennel soup I had tasted like puréed tomatoes from can with added sugar; the skate, though nicely browned, was over salted, and the mashed potatoes tasted like it came from an instant mix. Then, they almost forgot about my dessert that came as part of the prix fixe. At least the sorbet was edible, if not somewhat tasty. I’d only return there for a drink and dessert, nothing more.

Great spot for brunch. Can’t wait to go back to try their French onion soup. A friend of mine comes here regularly and I see why. I had the Norwegian for brunch. It was delicious. The coffee, service, and ambiance were all great as well. Definitely looking forward to visiting this place again.
