I had dinner at Hotel Riga in Antwerp several times and was truly impressed! The Italian cuisine is refined, creative, and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was warm and attentive, with excellent wine recommendations and ensuring every request was met with care. The homemade limoncello with lemon and basil on ice is the perfect finishing touch after such a delightful meal. A wonderful experience – I’ll gladly return!

Very relaxing atmosphere, really enjoyed the pasta with truffle.
We also ordered the filet di manzo on the suggestion menu, but I can’t recommend it. The filet was overdone and portion size was small in relation to the price.
Will return for the pasta though.

The food was fresh and tasty. The swordfish came with baked potatoes and roasted chicory; loved it. The wines were good and the staff was friendly. We sat outside because we smoke, but the interior looks really nice. The toilets are clean.

We were told that there was a problem in the kitchen but no effort was made to assuage guests. During the wait it was even hard to get another small water bottle. We left after eating salad and very small portions of pasta in 1h45min.

I tried to have breakfast here today. I have been sitting on the terrace for more than 10 minutes. It was a relatively quiet time and the staff clearly saw that I was there. But no one came to say hi or take an order. Very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Ultimately I left and went to the place next door, which was much more welcoming.

Sensational Italian food, based on quality ingredients. We always get back if we are in Antwerpen. The stuff is super friendly and open to any requests.
Highly recommended, especially during the day, otherwise only reservation.

Dinner with a family of four. Nice Italian cuisine. We felt some of the meat based mains were on the dry end and could benefit from richer sides and/or more sauce. Appetizers were good, dessert was exquisite. The service was helpful but the food was a tad slow to arrive, especially given the place was not busy on the day we dined. Modern and warm interior – it is the restaurant of the hotel.

A bit disappointed after having high expectations. I guess they had a bad day with service. We came in at 19h30 and only got the menu at 20h00, our drinks arrived at 20h30. Thirsty after 1h waiting to even get a drink. Not even bread on the table. Our first choice of main course was sold out, would have been nice if they told us that when handing out the menu. So we had to choose something else. Food arrived after 21h00, absolutely starving. They didn’t even pass again for another drinks order. Anyway the food did save the bad service experience a bit. Pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was amazing, but then at 28€ for a pasta it better be good.

We’ve been wanting to try out this restaurant for quite some time now, so we’re happy we finally made it.
We were welcomed by an enthousiastic young waiter and a passionate (Italian!) chef. I chose the Tagliata di manzo and I can honestly say I would never be able to prepare the meat as juicy and tender as it got served. It became a wonderful evening, also due to the nice wine recommendation by the waiter 😉
Whenever you pass by Antwerp, it’s definitely worth considering checking out this place.
