Can’t wait to return! We sat indoors, but the outdoor layout was just as well maintained & inviting. All of the staff was welcoming & friendly from arrival to departure (special shout out… Sharon radiates a warm, funny, personable & down-to-earth personality, like a long-time friend!)
The menu offers great classics but adds in a variety you don’t find at the average lobster pound. We ordered the House Special & Hot rolls with fries & chips, calamari & steamers. The lobster had a sweet, fresh crispness & the aioli was a great twist. The toasted buttered rolls added a savory balance to the meat. The fries were perfect but the homestyle chips are a standout that shouldn’t be missed. The calamari & steamers were both super tender bites. The regular and blueberry lemonades were ideal accompaniments to the meal.
We were extremely glad that we didn’t miss out on the in-house blueberry pie. The crust was perfectly and the Maine blueberry filling was sweet with a little balanced tang. We only regretted not ordering more slices. We’ve passed over blueberry pies in the past but will definitely return for theirs! Great establishment all around!

So yummy and what a fun atmosphere nestled in the woods with string lights and an old boat serving ice cream and pie. We tried the house special lobster roll and enjoyed each bite. So tasty and served in red baskets at red picnic tables spread out in the woods. Such a fun vibe and was delicious. Wonderful selection of beers. We had a delicious blueberry pie for dessert. Perfect stop after visiting Acadia national park just a few minutes outside the Hull Cove exit. Super fast service and clean bathrooms. Great stop!

We stayed just outside of Bar Harbor very close to this awesome establishment. My wife had the famous Lobster Roll and she absolutely loved it. I had the Lobster Mango Nachos, all I can say is they were “Orgasmic”, best damn nachos I have ever had. I loved them so much we went back few days later and I ordered them again with six raw oysters. We loved Bar Harbor and the Lobster Pound. Looking forward to the new website to be able to order merchandise. Thank you for the great food !!

This is such a charming place to eat! They cook the lobster fresh in an outdoor shack, so you can watch the process. The staff were super friendly, and the food came to us quickly. We got the1/2 order nachos and the house lobster roll. Both were amazing, but I think the nachos stole the show. Sanya was so sweet and helpful in getting us our food and taking care of it when we were finished. 10/10 recommend eating here.

Fun and classic Maine lobster experience! They have a big menu with plenty of seafood options, and while the lobster is pricey, that’s just how it is everywhere around here. There’s a small indoor seating area (about 10 tables) and lots of outdoor seating, plus window service where they bring the food right to your table.
The atmosphere is great — they’ve got a display of live lobsters inside, a small gift shop, and clean bathrooms. Outside, there are yard games like cornhole and even heaters for cooler weather. The giant tugboat ice cream stand is a fun touch too.
The portions were generous, and while we realized we’re not huge fans of lobster, the overall experience was still really enjoyable. The best part for me was definitely the dessert — the blueberry ice cream with blueberry pie was absolutely delicious!

This was my favorite meal we had in Bar Harbor! The Lobster Tacos were amazing, as was the Lobster Grilled Cheese. The vibes were immaculate sitting outside, and we really liked getting blueberry ice cream from the ice cream boat! Highly recommend to anyone around Bar Harbor!

Yum!!! One of the best lobster rolls and the nachos were really unique and creative (but a bit messy). Love the laid back environment with yard games, heaters and plenty of seating! 10/10 recommend the blueberry lemonade too!

This is casual dining outside primarily in a fun atmosphere. You wait in line to order and then pick a table and put the number on the table and your food is brought to you. The service is fast and friendly. We ordered 1/2 order of lobster nachos and shared with 3 people and a House Special lobster roll. The nachos are delicious but they do get soggy from the lobster bisque. The lobster roll was fantastic. The ice-cream boat has large servings of quality ice-cream. I didn’t love the blueberry pie but it was OK.

The lobster roll here was excellent. Best roll I had on this trip. It makes sense that they have to have really good food to attract customers as it’s a bit out of the way and not on the water. They’ve done a nice job with space and putting out lots of tables and lights so it has a decent ambience.
I would skip the oysters – they were served warm and weren’t cut from the shell. But the lobster roll was great and also the fries were delicious. Would recommend.
