Lobster grilled cheese is worth the wait, wait staff is working hard to get meals out in a timely manner. If you just need a burger try somewhere else it is merely mediocre. Beer is good. Great spot to people watch, location is great but that’s what makes it so busy.

Recently visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. During our stay we ate here several times. Every one of our meals was delicious. Fish and chips was the highlight. First time having haddock fish and chips. Really well executed on crispy exterior and moist flakey flesh. The service was good. Met some really nice wait staff here and enjoyed the conversations.

The first time I came was a great experience. Johnni was an excellent bartender who made one of the best drinks I’ve had. $15 for five buffalo shrimp seems a little pricey, however. The second time we came I had brought my husband with me and we asked to sit at one of the tables all of which were empty and they told us we were not allowed to sit there if we were only getting drinks. I explained to the bartender that he has circulation issues with his legs, and can’t sit at high top tables. They still said if we were not eating, we were not allowed to. We had not planned on being there more than 30 minutes and we would have gotten up if they needed the table. I did not see the issue when the entire restaurant was empty. This is bad customer service and you lost a customer because we left. I can understand having this role when it is busy, but if the entire restaurant is empty, and there’s not a single table set, you should be able to make an exception for somebody who is handicap. next time we will lie and say we’re going to eat and then just change our minds.

Food, drinks & service were great! We got the waffle fries (#1 w/ beer cheese, bacon & scallions) & they were incredible. We also got the pulled pork sandwich & shrimp po’boy which were also delicious.

Looked for something close walking distance to where we parked that didn’t have a wait since we had his parents with us. Not my top choice but was ok bar food. Lots of space inside and outside. This would probably be better for a drink or a small app pit stop and sit outside on patio kind of place. The lobster grilled cheese sandwich wasn’t my favorite and couldn’t finish it.

Great location within the strip of shops. There is plenty of outdoor seating. We went around 3 pm, so after lunch rush. We waited for around 5 minutes (they had to clean a table). Our server was nice. He took our drink order, and it came out in just a few minutes. We ordered our food, and it came out within 10 minutes. The shrimp po’boy was good. The sauce had flavor but just a little much on the sandwich (it was hard to pick up and put down, got soggy). The chicken salad sandwich was pretty good and light. The lobster roll was a good portion size and didn’t have too much mayo. The potato chips had light salt, which tasted good with the sandwiches. The lobster salad was basically a bunless lobster roll. The portion was large and came with a vinaigrette dressing. I ordered a blueberry frizz. It was very sour and didn’t taste much like blueberry. Handicapped accessibility would be limited; no ramp (that I saw) to eat inside, you could eat outside 1st floor, which is under cover. The bathroom is tricky, getting in and out with 2 doors that open the same way.

My beer battered shrimp were excellent and really delicious. My husband’s pulled pork waffle fries were also tasty. My daughter had the fish and chips kids meal which included lay’s original wavy potato chips, 2 celery sticks, and 3 baby carrots as “sides.” I don’t think our server said more than three words to us and the hostess acted like she disliked her job. Not a fan of the coleslaw but that’s a preference.
