I honestly have no idea how this place has a 4.4 rating. That score makes absolutely no sense given the reality of the service here. It was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had.
Everything was painfully slow – from cleaning the table to taking the order. We sat there for 2 full hours and never received our food. We eventually had to leave hungry. No apology, no communication. We weren’t the only ones; we saw multiple other tables waiting over 2 hours as well.
I’m attaching a photo of our view for the entire night: an empty table with nothing but a bottle of olive oil. What did they expect us to do? Drink the oil for dinner? The service quality here should bring their rating down exponentially. Do not be fooled by the high score—avoid this place.

I really wanted to love this place because everything was perfect — the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive, and overall the atmosphere was great.
Unfortunately, I can only give it 3/5 because on the night we visited, there was someone very drunk who kept bothering us (Tall chubby old bald guy). It was quite uncomfortable and honestly disgusting. From the way the situation unfolded, I think he might even be the owner, since the staff couldn’t do much about it.
That said, the staff were really kind — they came to check on us and even offered to change our table, which we truly appreciated. If it weren’t for that bad experience, this would have easily been a 5/5.

Wow, this is a perfect location with the sea right next to you when eating on the beach. We received excellent service from Yasi, she was lovely and super-helpful. She gave us several suggestions. One good point is that the portions are large so we ordered a half size and this was spot on. It was the best seafood moqueca we’ve had in Brazil so far and grilled local white fish too. Prices are quite high however definitely worth it for the location, high quality food and service.

Food was good, but nothing special and it wasn’t worth the very expensive meal. We got fish and rice for 2 people, and each person got 2 drinks of juice and the total came out to R$681 or $130 USD. I remember I got strawberry juice and mango juice, and I thought the strawberry juice was really good, but the mango juice was very bland. We were there in the afternoon and there were lots of mosquitos, but one nice thing they do is they provide mosquito repellant. They’re located on the beach so they have nice views of the ocean. All their menu is for 2 people, so this isn’t a good place to go if you’re eating by yourself. It’s also annoying even if you have 2 people, because I wanted one thing, and the person I was with wanted something else, so we had to compromise and buy something else that was neither of us wanted, because it was too expensive to get a meal for 2 for each person.

Food is fresh and the portions are BIG but it’s expensive. Portions for 2 or more for 3-4 people. Ask if you can have half a portion for half price and it might be worth it!
That said, the servers were all super sweet. We got the white fish stew and my girl didn’t like it. It was pretty fishy tasting. But the people next to us got the fried fish and it looked great.

We ordered the house specialty: Lua e Mar mix seafood grill. Woooooooow
Perfection!
The portions were huge and we even had a doggy bag for the evening.

Excellent location + excellent seafood + excellent service = a fab start to a fab holiday ! Dining on the beach with the best seafood moqueca we’ve had in Brazil so far + grilled local white fish. The portions are large so ask for a single or half portion. Prices equivalent to a top quality restaurant in any major city so expect to pay that especially for the location & super fresh fabulous seafood.
We spent a good few hours of the afternoon here enjoying a leisurely lunch + a few caipirinhas. Our waitress Yasi was excellent – spoke good English & was super friendly.
5 stars for food, service & location.
Oh, and the local singer on the guitar crooning some solid tunes with his soothing voice was an added bonus.
