Let’s start off with Patrick the bartender extraordinaire that was juggling the bar along with the high tops in bar area. He did this seamlessly and I was totally impressed.
Happy Hour here is TOP Notch ! Our table was enjoying the French 77, the old fashioned and the martinis .. WOW! All at a decent price. We loved our burgers and boy were they cooked to perfection. We had ours on lettuce which they happily accommodated. Last but certainly not least, the OLIVES- my goodness!!! ils sont délicieux !! They’re absolutely delicious. Our table devoured them. This place is too legit to QUIT!!! Great job

Bar Colline is a lovely and very approachable French restaurant in the Crystal City area. My husband and I were looking for a place for dinner after enjoying happy hour at the nearby Water Bar and most places required a reservation, but we were able to just walk-in at Bar Colline, so that’s what we did. We were greeted warmly as we entered and promptly shown to a table. Our server was friendly and provided recommendations from the menu. The food and bottle of red wine we ordered were all delicious. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of our main dishes, but I promise they were good and very filling. We were too full for dessert, but we will definitely comeback. Thanks!

Great service! The happy hour was limited in choices of food, but the food is excellent! The burger and the oysters were on point.
The ambiance is almost like an old elongated bar in mid-town Manhattan. It’s got a good feel. I would definitely return.

We visited twice and had two polar opposite experiences. The first time, on Oct 17, we had a fantastic happy hour experience with amazing food/drinks and great service. Then we went back on Oct. 31st and we had the worst service from the white male server in the cow costume and terrible drinks (we ordered the same drink as last time). We were shocked at how poor the service was like night and day. He was so unfriendly and inattentive.

We were very excited to try the new Bar Colline in National Landing. We’ve been going to Cafe Colline in North Arlington for years and love their food. Bar Colline maintained those high standards in a fresh, open space with plenty of bar, dining room, and outdoor seating. Service was attentive and very helpful: our waitress, Layla, was lovely! Our food was delicious: my son declared the bistro burger the best he’d ever had. We also loved the mussels, chicken paillard, and croquettes. Desserts did not disappoint. We highly recommend the chocolate pots de creme and the creme brûlée. We will be back!

The place was packed when I arrived on a Tuesday night at 6:30 pm but I managed to get a seat at the bar. The Old Fashioned and Creme Brulee were both excellent, perhaps the best I’ve had and reasonably price too. Bar service was superlative and respectful. Stillvwater was excellent and free. The restaurant was well staffed. Five stars all around for quality, price, service and atmosphere. This is now my go-to place anytime I fly through DCA (Reagan International Airport). My M.O. is to stay in Crystal City the night before my morning flight. Great stop for dinner.

Bar Colline is a hidden gem in Arlington! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt transported to a charming European café. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and beautifully designed—perfect for a relaxing evening or a special night out.
I ordered the Chicken Pollard, and it was absolutely divine—perfectly cooked, full of rich flavor, and beautifully presented. My friend had the burger, which had a great char and layers of flavor that really impressed him. Then we both had the French Onion soup and it was FANTASTIC!
This spot is an instant favorite, and I’ll definitely be bringing my family back to enjoy it again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an elevated, European-inspired dining experience right in the heart of Arlington!

Weekday Happy Hour, on a Thursday… Had a very nice experience. Atmosphere is very nice, open space with a beautiful dark wood bar. Greated with smiles, each staff member was warm & nice. And I was pleasantly surprised to see a full house in a Thursday at 645 ( happy hour goes to 7).
Smash Burgers were delicious with a nice crisp to the edges and quality tasty beef served with fries. HH menu included good selections for red & white wine, beers and cocktails.
Recommend this place be put on anyone’s HH rotation and for the full lunch or dinner experience

New, beautiful place in Crystal City to bring more life and fun to the neighborhood. The food was solid, burger flavorful and chicken ceasar salad was delicious. Cocktails were super good and on point. The atmosphere was really nice, with a long bar…..perfect for solo diners and perfect for a neighborhood of apartments and office buildings.
Now the bad…..service. The bartender was not welcoming, not friendly, unable to enthusiasically share his favorite dishes, zero engagement…….so we ate and left. We walked in and only 2 women were at the bar so it was not busy at all! A second (or third!) round of drinks lost due to not being asked and us wanting to leave. Dessert……handed a menu, no recommendations to tempt us.
Would I return? Probably not….neither of us felt welcomed nor appreciated…..and because Bar Chinois was more welcoming and has great HH specials.

I’m a big fan of Café Colline and it was great to get to Bar Colline now too. The restaurant is beautiful. Nice long bar with ample seating which worked great for our trio during happy hour. The food was a expected (delicious) and the wine list & cocktails were great too. Also, can’t neglect to mention the staff who were very attentive and engaging. Definitely recommend.
