We had a GREAT experience. They left a lasting impression on me in every way and I can’t wait to go back. Customer service? Impeccable! The decor is beautiful and all of the seating seems suitable for groups. The food was excellent! Some of the dishes we had were seasonal but maybe the manager/owner can comment with some details so that I can update the post.

We came here for dinner on Friday, and it was completely packed. We were lucky to only wait about 30-40 minutes for a table.
We ordered two cocktails – the Three Tiers and the Jungle Cave. The Three Tiers was amazing, but the Jungle Cave was just okay.
For food, we had the beef carpaccio, hearts of palm, ribs, and Thit Kho. The beef carpaccio was definitely the highlight of the meal, while the hearts of palm was our least favorite dish.
The service was good, though not extraordinary. The ambiance is really cool, with nice Vietnamese-inspired touches throughout.

Katerina was such a great server from the moment we were greeted. She explained the dishes to the exact specifications and they came out exactly as she described. The food was so fresh and flavorful. My wife enjoyed the lo stern curry dish. We enjoyed your dinner and will be back!

I recently visited Bao Toan Kitchen & Bar for lunch, and it was phenomenal! The atmosphere is super chic, the lunch menu is extensive and reasonably priced, and the food is high-quality and authentic. Plus, they offer a discount if you work in the Crosstown Concourse building!

I took my 14 year-old daughter with a gift card we had received. We love trying international cuisine and had heard good things about this restaurant. We went during brunch and had the tofu baguette sandwich (BÁNH MÌ), the salad (XÀ LÁCH), the mini pork and shrimp crepes (BÁNH KHỌT), and the Vietnamese egg coffee (CÀ PHÊ TRỨNG). We enjoyed trying them all! The price point is higher than I normally would pay, but the eclectic atmosphere, great service (thank you Kat!) and unique food made it a really enjoyable experience.

Was headed into Crosstown to grab food somewhere else but I saw Bao and decided to try it. So glad I did! Service was great, the people here are inviting and respectful. The food was quite Delicious. I tried the Cóm Tãm Thit Núong and ate it all. The decor and atmosphere is the best part though! Such a chic and cozy place. I’ll be back.

Love coming here! I have been for dinner so many times and the sea bass is my go-to. They just started serving lunch which is SO great. I got the Bún with tofu and it was amazing – so fresh, light, and flavorful. I got some hoisin sauce on the side and it was an awesome addition to the dish! It’s voted best Vietnamese restaurant in Memphis for a reason!

My friend and I went for the first time and had Sunday brunch and a drag show. I ordered the Chao with chicken. It came with a cabbage salad, which was crunchy and sweet. The porridge was perfectly salted. I was afraid I’d either have to add salt OR that it would be too salty. Even in the daytime, the interior was dim. I’m not sure if it is always like that or what. They have outside seating and large windows that let in natural light. I liked the rattan light fixtures that reminded me of jellyfish.
