Delicious Indian food, very flavorful and fresh! The gluten free brownies the owners wife makes too are so rich and moist. Wonderful experience with the staff and owner, great customer service. Definitely recommend !

Banyan Tree catered our wedding at Oxbow Brewery and did an incredible job! The food was amazing and our wedding guests raved about it (even grandparents who had never eaten Indian food before). San was very accommodating and easy to work with. Looking forward to making it back to try more of the options on his menu. Thank you San!

We are so excited to have you back again. Your food was amazing and cannot wait to experience more from your menu throughout the summer. Although your new location is a little further drive it is so worth it. You ended up in a beautiful tranquil location listening to birds, frogs and people having fun.

Enjoyed some amazing Indian food at Oxbow. Didn’t expect to find such interesting options in the woods. Food had the perfect level of spice. The owner and his family were nice and attentive. Can’t wait to come back.

Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had!! Dahi puri with paneer was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth!!! I wanted to get another order but wanted to try something else! I got the butter paneer and didn’t even get a picture because I dived right in! Oh man delicious!!! Another explosion of flavor!! I’m sad next weekend is the last weekend they will be open for the season! Don’t miss this place!! And Oxbow brewing where they are located had excellent beer to accompany the food!!

Had a chance to try food from Banyan Tree this afternoon. I asked for no spice as I don’t like it hot.
I still got tons of flavor some of which I have never experienced before. Excellent food at a fair price. Downright delicious. They were set up at Oxbow Brewery where they have a great deck overlooking a pond. A1 I highly recommend Banyan Tree Food Truck. I had chicken wings drenched in sauce with naan and jasmine(?) rice and peas. Yum

We had an INCREDIBLE meal from the Banyan Food Truck at the Newcastle Oxbow. The food was extremely flavorful and spicy, without killing our taste buds. The Puri were especially interesting as neither of us have had anything like that before! The butter paneer was the best butter paneer I’ve ever had. We will come back up here just to enjoy food from here again!!

A local gem! Banyan Tree’s food is absolutely delicious, and we had such a good experience talking with the owner while we were there.

They have a great variety of food for all tastes: Vegetarians, no-spice, high-spice, chicken, lamb, pork, you name it. I had their Navratan Korma special and I recommend it completely. A fantastic mixture of fresh vegetables, creamy sauce, topped with cashews, along with their family special recipie rice: all to die for. Well worth making the trip.

Sitting in Oxbow’s patio we were hit with an incredible blast of spice aroma. We ordered samosa chat and the owner walked them out to our picnic table when they were ready. I don’t normally leave reviews, but these were just too good. The variety of texture, the mix of honest spice and cooling herbs, and even though it might seem like a weird shoutout-the peas in the filling were perfectly cooked. I will seek these out and will definitely have them again.
