Pleasantly, Uniquely surprised. This is my first time at this establishment at this location. I must say. The pictures that I took this place, does it no justice. This establishment for where it is located it’s like It don’t belong here, but I’m glad management had forethought to bring it here, kudos to them!

So I decided to check this place out. It’s called Banyan tree seems to be pretty good. There’s a sign at the front that says wait to be seated. OK so I waited to be seated but yet no one acknowledge me. I see three women behind the counter. I see a woman walking around greeting talking to everybody laughing carrying on I guess they’re good friends I see a guy that’s taking orders to someone seated. I made eye contact with a worker but not acknowledge. When I stood at the front desk waiting to be seated no one came. All I wanted to do was to try the food. I see it’s a new location. The place is so beautiful. I’m not going to lie. It is so beautiful but you have to teach these guys that’s working at this counter and working for your company when you see somebody walking in greeting them “good morning, good afternoon, good evening”. How can I help you help the people that walk through the door yes the people in the community are from there yes but you got somebody walking in that hasn’t been in this community in a while and wants to give money to a restaurant that looks amazing but your service needs to step up a little more when you see somebody walk through that door that’s money greet that person. You never know who you are ignoring. I’m going to try it again at a later time. I will see how they operate then.

Muck city! Muck city! Muck city! I love what you did with the place. When I tell you pleasantly surprised and congratulations. From the ambiance to the service, Banyan Tree has yet to miss. Always a pleasure eating here, if you haven’t visited yet, I don’t know what you waiting for. The grits are creamy and hot like grandma made them. Chicken hot, crispy and battered to perfection (not too much and not too little), eggs softly scrambled and lightly seasoned. All the servers are attentive. The decor is a modern yet rustic design, all the fixtures aren’t over the top and the music gives you a relaxed cookout feel. They are open from 7am-3pm serving breakfast and lunch! An impressive rebranding for a hometown classic and favorite.

The food was exceptionally delicious. The coffee was exceptionally good without any Cream or sugar. The weight staff couldn’t have been more courteous. Just look at this creative pancake with all of the fruit on top. The fruit made it so sweet, I probably put on a teaspoon of syrup at most!

Waited 10 minutes to be seated, after being seated someone took out drink order then never came back so another waitress took out order & 5 minutes go by she comes back without the drinks in hand & says she doesn’t have certain things & proceeds to tell us it’ll be awhile before anything comes out so we left.. maybe next time mention that before setting someone down especially if they have children with them.
