We happened upon this place while on our way back from a basketball game in Cromwell. It’s winter so we didn’t get to see a great view of the lake, but we will definitely go back! The service was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable waitress. The setting was comfortable and cozy with twinkle lights and candles on the table of the elevated dining room. Bar looked fun and welcoming but we had kids so sat up top. Food came out very fast and everything was delicious! Some of the meals were served on the wooden tray with metal plate like the old school supper clubs. We didn’t have one complaint, everything was exactly how we ordered it and very yummy! I was able to order off of the “early bird” menu so I had a big pork chop, salad, breadstick and potato for $12! Cheaper than a fast food value meal and enough food to share and bring some home. I highly recommend Bann’s and can’t wait to go back in the summer to see the lake open.

Place is ok. We just ate here. Menu is pretty basic but reasonable priced The burger was bland and the bacon on it was terrible. The onion rings not good at all. The wings were very good as a positive. The waitress messed up our orderas well.

It’s a nice restaurant with good food and great prices. I was there on a bingo night. It was very busy and they were short staffed, so it took forever to get our food. But I intend to go back again on a non-bingo night..

Was there a couple weeks ago for a Sunday breakfast . We were a party of six, including my two 11 year olds and their two friends. We were warmed prior to this that we could not sit anywhere but upstairs due to staffing. I put two little tables together to make a table big enough for us to use as the only other large table was reserved. A young female server watched me do this, didn’t help me. A really old female server came from kitchen and yelled at me, in front of my kids none the less, that i can’t do that. The staff are rude to non locals.

Bann’s is a hidden gem.
Versatile. Bar atmosphere AND also a very nice dinner club.
We were lucky to be seated for dinner. It was great! The bar menu, like all bar menus, is just that. A quick mini dinner.

Never written a poor review in my life….. Walked in at 1:00 pm with a party of 12 for my sisters 40th birthday. Had said to the group how cool this place was to everyone from a previous visit. There were five people in the whole restaurant at the time of arrival. We were scoffed at right at the door for bringing in a party of 12 without calling. Totally understand if it was busy, but seriously?! Nobody is here! Then tried ordering a round of six shots to cheers the birthday, the bartender (blonde hair) gave the most obnoxious head roll and literally groaned like a dying animal from by the request. Again, place is empty.
Stay away from this place unless you are a local who comes here on a daily basis. They don’t want anyone else’s business.

Fair prices three of us had burgers all three tasted a bit freezer burnt. The waitress insisted they get their meat fresh weekly. At first I thought it was just me but the other two burger eaters commented the same.
The deep fried mushrooms were excellent as well as their deep fried onions.

I want so much for this to be a stellar review. This place is so close to where we live, and they do a lot for the local community.
Sadly, once again, they didn’t measure up. The server was fine, busy, yet attentive.
I ordered a burger and fries. The burger saturated the too small of bun for the size of the burger, and the fries were cold.
Happily this time the service was better.
