I ordered Chicken…got shrimp in my order. I don’t have a shell fish allergy but they don’t know that.
I also called them to inform them that their website says it comes with fried rice( the only reason I ordered…had a craving for fried rice) They said their menu does not say that yet it says that online the DoorDash ordering side. All I wanted was a side of fried rice. NOPE!!! No wonder the restaurant is empty.
Will never order again. Oh and the chicken is dry and the shrimp is rubber.

Ordered 4 Steak Hibatchi to go with 2 clear soups & 2 miso. Ginger salad, veggies, & Rice included. Steak was tender & also comes with 2 shrimp.

Person was very rude and condescending for no reason while placing order. Sushi was average at best. Don’t recommend this place at all.
Should’ve read the reviews. I’m not the only one who this happened to. Not sure if the lady is the owner or not but she needs to adjust her attitude.

If I could give it 0 I would. I ordered hibachi shrimp & chicken. The food was absolutely horrible and not Japanese style at all. It was as if they boiled everything or taken off a buffet line that was sitting out all day. California rolls not rolled properly and not firm or cold. Noodles were paper thin, dry and tasteless. Rice smelled and tasted bad. I never even attempted to eat the salad or soup. Everything went in the garbage including $50 down the drain. Never again.

The place is very cozy. It was my first time. They are a little different from the regular Japanese restaurants. Definitely stop by and try the food. I will definitely be back. I would suggest it for small parties and couples. They have a large variety of rolls and sushi to choose from.

I used to visit here sometimes a few times a week for lunch years ago. Stop coming here quite a while ago but not for any good reason. I’ve been getting my sushi delivered from Wang on 37 but having just their lunch special today reminded me of how much better sushi could be. The stuff from Wang is all right, not bad but certainly not great. The sushi I had today from Bungie okay not Bungie you s***** voice text geeks Bungie bungee bungee banji wow voice text really sucks. I had to say ban-g we to get it to work which is not how you say b a n j i. Anyway, go there. The lunch special is very affordable and the food is absolutely delicious.

I’ve been going to Banji for years and can’t recommend it enough to locals. It’s such a good hole in the wall! Sushi is always so fresh, we get the same waitress everytime cause it’s a small family business and she’s always nice and remembers my order. Place is clean. Cute comfy atmosphere perfect for a chill sushi night. My boyfriend and I come here all the time for a laid back sushi date night his favorite is any of the fried rice or the chicken tempura. I personally love their miso soup, princess roll, and Philly roll.

We should have known not to stay when we came in, the place was completely empty and had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come out from
the back to seat us. Everything we ate (salads & sushi) was bland. For the price we paid we could have went up the block and had a much more delicious meal.

Do not eat here! They have a cockroach problem!!! Went out to eat with my friend and saw one on the wall next to where we were eating. Told the woman and she came over to kill it and walk away like nothing happened. We were so grossed out we couldn’t even eat our entree. We went up to the desk to tell them we were leaving and only paying for the appetizer we ate not the meal since we did not touch it at all. The woman tried to give us an issue for not wanting to pay but eventually stopped fighting it and we only ended up paying for what we actually ate. We are definitely reporting this. Do better as a restaurant or get shut down permanently.

Very poor customer service. They were very rude when we called about our order that was wrong. We spent a large amount of money on dinner for take out. It was wrong . We called to question our order only to be yelled at by the woman who demanded we send her a picture of our food. Terrible terrible service and the food was not fresh. We would recommend finding another place for sushi and hibachi . I usually do not leave reviews but to be treated this way is very unprofessional.
