Went there for the variety of bahn mi they had. Tried a pepper steak veggie beef ssunmer roll with friend. Wouldn’t get again. Felt like it was missing the typical veggies you would find in a Vietnamese summer roll. Also, the meat inside was so sparse that absolutely did not make it worth it. Also felt like it was overloaded with the vermicelli and so that made the roll a bit gummy. The bahn mi the other hand, I had the mixed pork and chicken and thought that was quite tasty. I would go there again. Just skip the summer rolls.

Banh mi was average, never had one with lettuce. Glad I ordered with cilantro or it would have been bland. Bread was good, soft on inside, outside slightly crunchy. The bbq/grill pork had no flavor, was too thick, was fatty and the pickled carrots were spot on. But for the sandwich to work, all must be equally good to make it awesome. Not here.

Medium is not spicy at all. I am craving for the sliced pork(very traditional style Bahm mi) the grilled chicken is very sweet. The bread is okay, somewhat crunchy. Not very traditional but ok for a quick lunch.

I come here way more often than I’d like to admit. Excellent Banh Mi, I haven’t tried any of their desserts but they look good. The inside of the bakery is always very clean and the staff is attentive. I’ve tried almost all of the different Banh Mi options aside from the grilled chicken or shrimp. I really like the crispy flounder and you have the option to have it air fried which is great for me trying to eat healthy. The star of the sandwich is the veggies- crunchy and fresh also a big portion which I love. The bread is also always very fresh and crunchy. I work nearby so this is a great option for me. 11/12 per sandwich which isn’t that bad for the area. Highly recommended to try this place. The packaging is always very nice and neat. Can place an order for pick-up through Uber eats or the store directly. You can select your level of spiciness too which makes me feel that what I’m ordering is very authentic. Usually go for mild but medium is also good. Option of cilantro and/or harpoons in addition to what already comes on the sandwich.

I came here for a bite with one of my friends after a morning workout class and it wasn’t a bad spot! Located just on the outskirts of central LIC, it’s a bit out of the way, but not hard to get to. They have some bar/window seating, but no tables. It’s much more of a casual pick-up spot, if anything. Service was fairly quick.

I got their grilled chicken and pork banh mi and my friend got their pork banh mi. Overall, it was better than I thought and not bad at all! They were generous with the portions and gave lots of veggies, which I loved (I wish their pickled carrots and radish were just a bit crunchier though). The marinade for the meats was also well done! I would note that they used American mayo (as opposed to Vietnamese mayo) for the banh mi, which was super noticeable to me. Overall, not a bad spot for Vietnamese banh mi in LIC.

I am Vietnamese and this banh mi is just average if not below average. I asked if the grilled marinated pork was nem nuong, a special kind of marinated pork, and the employee said yes. So I got a few for my friends. The interior was cute but it was 86 degrees and there was Zero Air Conditioning in the establishment, so it felt awful waiting for the sandwich. I finally got the sandwiches after a while and went I went home to eat them, I was disappointed. The meat isn’t authentic to Vietnamese culture at all, and definitely not what the employee said it was. Also, I have never seen shredded lettuce in a banh mi Vietnamese sandwich, but this place had it, so that really threw me off. I really liked how the bread was soft and crispy though. The Viet coffee was also only okay. It was not as strong as an authentic one should be. Overall this place is just average but convenient if you want a quick bite. The sandwich was $12 each though which is pricey.

The pork spring rolls were also dry, missing the freshness and moisture that typically make spring rolls enjoyable.
Overall, given the poor quality of the food, I would not dine at BANH Mi Stop again.

Yuck!! Stay away. Not authentic banh mi. I place my order online before reading the reviews. I went in to pick up my order and the place smelled rotten. If I would have walked in before ordering online I would have walk out due to the smell. I ordered the vegan pork bahn mi and it was the worst I’ve ever had. I requested a refund and they offered to give me back $10 cash instead of the full refund. The pictures post by the restaurant online looks nothing like what you get and it sure didn’t taste like what I ordered either. When I got back to my car after opening the sandwich my whole car stunk, smelled like something dead. I’m so glad I didn’t eat that sandwich. I’m almost certain that I would have gotten food poisoning.

The food was awesome and I definitely plan to come back. I had a beef bank mi with medium spice, cilantro, no jalapeño. I liked being able to pick the level of heat, medium was perfect for me, but I know people who would go high heat for sure. Staff was very nice too.

Found this after a friend of mine told me. I got the pork chop banh mi and grilled chicken banh mi, the grilled chicken was my favorite. They got the meat and then the pickled veggies that goes w the crispy yet soft bread. (Although it’s like not actUaly authentic authentic Vietnamese banh mi) It is fulfilling u can even actually share it w one another person or by yourself if you’re really hungry. When u get there there’s this Deli spot near there(that’s not the one, I got confused on maps, it’s the one that says cake stuff etc) They also apparently do cake decoration services and they also got baked goods and slices of cakes that are very cute for a friend, for picnics etc. they got great seating outside. so cute def stopping by for more. Absolutely check it out for a quick bite.
