I’ve been to Bahn Mi San Carlos a few times now and think it’s good but not great. I love BBQ pork and their sandwich is tasty but meager. It needs more fillings, especially the meat! The service is amazing though so I’m sure I’ll be back before long.

Banh Mi San Marcos is highly recommended!! My family and many friends have enjoyed Banh Mi San Marcos for many years, and I should have posted a review sooner!
We especially love the curry chicken and grilled pork banh mi sandwiches, and of course the fried rice and spring rolls are great. The chow mein party tray is also awesome and a big hit for larger gatherings!
As for service, this is a family-owned place and the owners are SO nice, hard working, and very appreciative of their customers!
The atmosphere is nice and basic, for a small party sit down, and they have many tables even though this tends to be a ‘take out’ place.
If not already, you will enjoy trying Banh Mi San Marcos!

First time here. Great food! Really tasty marinade on the meat, really delicious bread, and yummy veggies. The older man working at the counter was really sweet and kind. The sandwiches could use a bit more meat in them, as it was a little thin- but other than that, everything was great! Highly recommended.

Tried out this banh mi shop on our vacation and it was so good. We got the pork meatball sandwiches which were delicious. The seasoning was perfect and the meatballs were not dry like other places. The baguettes were crispy on the outside and soft in the center. If you come here, you HAVE TO get the Vietnamese coffee. We also tried the flan, which was good too.

I’m so sad I didn’t get the man’s name but he was the sweetest human! He recommended the grilled pork sandwich and it was so tasty! Also got some coffees to recharge! We just only in the area for a jiu jitsu tournament but so glad we stopped by!

It’s been a hot minute since I had banh mi, and I’m happy I stopped here. My sandwich was delicious as expected. I came after the lunch rush, and although not crowded, there was a nice buzz of patrons. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in the area. Service was great.

We wanted to try some other place in the same block, but it wasn’t open so my friend said let’s try this place. I was pleasantly surprised as the bahn mi’s actually quite delicious. Tasty meat, cucumbers, carrots and cilantro were sandwiched between fresh french bread. I would have liked a bit more veggies but overall it was still pretty decent. An added plus is the owner’s super friendly. I recommend this place.
