Ordered two Banh Mi sandwiches yesterday and they were very good. Different story tonight………I ordered one for my husband and although they were generous with the filling, the bread disintegrated. My husband ended up eating just the filling. It didn’t help that the grilled pork was “saucy” (made the bread soggy on the bottom). If the bread was fresh and the meat wasn’t sauced, it would’ve been a perfect Banh Mi.

I had a tofu banh mi and my husband had the chicken with paté, both were legitimately the best banh mi we’ve ever had flavor and filling wise. I think they are better onsite vs takeout as the juices inside were definitely geared towards eating right away vs after a drive home! Also, the gal who helped us was super sweet with my daughter!

HIGHLY recommend the lemongrass chicken over rice. Everything was fresh, and the fantastic combination of flavors keeps us coming back!

Hands down the best bahn mi in Vancouver! I’ve been coming here for years and the quality has stayed the same and its always consistent. The staff are always very friendly as well. My only complaint is I always seem to crave it on the days they are closed

I love “Best Baguettes” but this food truck puts them to shame. Best part about Banh Mi Saigon is it’s park in front of a tap house (Brother’s Cascadia) who brews some of the best beers in The Pacific Northwest. But other than that, you definitely got to try their lemongrass beef, I promise you’ll be back. At $6-$7 a sandwich, the portions will guarantee your money’s worth.

Asked for no mayonnaise, and the guy working covered my rice place with mayo. The rice was soggy/mushy definitely should not been served to customers. Dropping my rating to 3 stars until they get their act together or just come here when the Asian lady is working. So disappointed since I was bragging about how good this food truck is to a colleague of mine.

One of the best banh mis I’ve ever had. Super affordable and amazing quality! I got the lemongrass chicken and added mushrooms + onions and couldn’t be happier. Easy 10/10!

I love Banh Mi(s) quite a bit. I’ve tried a lot of banh mis from different Vietnamese restaurants over the years, in both the Portland area, and up in Seattle.
I gotta say, this is probably the best Banh Mi I have ever had. I ate the lemongrass chicken banh mi and the bread was warm, and also soft, which was a bit different from the crispier baguettes most other places serve, but I still thoroughly enjoyed. The inside ingredients were also warm, such as the pate/mayo which is something that I haven’t actually had before but made the experience all the more better. Not to mention the veggies were fresh and crisp, while didn’t taste pickled still contrasted amazingly with the other warmer ingredients.
The star of the show, the chicken? Yeah, seasoned beautifully and cooked beautifully. Not dry at all.
I have a soft spot for small businesses, and especially for food trucks. This is an amazing place to grab a banh mi from, or if you’re into breweries, to eat while at the brewery next door.
Trust- I will be back.

Has ownership recently changed? I noticed many new people working here and not the awesome couple I’ve become accustomed to. The grilled pork sandwiches aren’t as saucy and awesome as they used to be my last two visits. It’s still pretty good but the balance is off now. Otherwise the best bahn mi around.
