The banh mi is massive and generously packed with a variety of hams. It’s easily filling enough for a full dinner. Taste wise, it is definitely better than many other banh mi spots out there.

However, the pricing is slightly on the higher side, especially for a HDB void deck shop. The low tables and chairs feel very authentically Vietnamese, and sort of charming feel. They also leave wet tissues on the tables for guests to clean up after their meal, we really appreciate this simple, yet great idea (should expand to food courts).

I ordered takeaway from Banh Mi Saigon, a popular spot I’ve been meaning to try. I got the Grilled BBQ Pork Banh Mi (#6, $9.90) and an order of Fresh Spring Rolls (#S3, $9.90).

Let’s start with the most impressive part: the baguette. I got delayed after picking up my food (had to meet a Carousell seller) and only got to eat it almost an hour later. I was sure it would be soggy, but it was still incredibly crispy! The bread was airy and had that perfect, crackly crust. The fillings were generous, with fresh pickles. The grilled BBQ pork itself, which was a seasoned minced pork patty, was very flavourful, but I did find it a bit too dry for my liking.

The Fresh Spring Rolls were also very good. You could tell they were freshly made. The rice paper wrapper was perfect—elastic, sticky, and not at all tough. The ingredients inside (prawns, lettuce, vermicelli) were all crisp and fresh. As is common with this dish, the flavour of the roll itself is very clean and mild, so it relies almost entirely on the provided fish sauce chilli dip, which was tangy and delicious.

Overall, this is a solid 4-star spot. The quality of the bread is top-notch, and the ingredients are fresh. I’ll definitely be back to try their other fillings.

i got the roasted pork banh mi today as I did around a year ago and the quality is still as good! the bread has the right amount of buttery-ness which compliments the fresh vegetables and the meat nicely! the portion is pretty big for me but it’s damn worth the 9.90 and im glad i came back but the iced red tea was definitely still too sweet for me and i would give it a miss (asked for less sweet too…) but the staff were nice and verbally accommodated to my beverage requests

Don’t let the price tag deter you; the value here is in the craftsmanship. They don’t just fill the bread; they OVERLOAD it with premium, juicy grilled meats and a layer of pâté that anchors the whole sandwich. The addition of house-pickled vegetables and fragrant fried spring onions provides a bright, authentic finish that balances the richness perfectly. It’s a beautiful mess of textures.

Service Tip: Request a mid-cut for a much cleaner eating experience!

This Banh Mi was delicious and value for money. The bread was crispy, and they generously added plenty of meat. I had chicken breast, but it was a bit dry for my taste. Overall, it was a hearty and satisfying meal that left me feeling full

Finally tried Saigon Bánh Mì, and it’s easily one of the best banhmi I’ve tried in Singapore. The fillings are generous, the baguette is crispy on the outside without being chewy, and they even offer dine-in at their mini tables and chairs — a very cute touch. The counter staff who took my order was very friendly and polite too.

For those seeking authenticity to home, I’d recommend this place for those closer to home. Tho priced on the higher side, these Vietnamese have kept the stake high being generously providing on their meat!

We ordered 2 banh mi – one that says Specialty & another that is Spicy Bo Lat Banh Mi.

Specialty Banh Mi – we preferred it as we were curious about the specialty in it. The banh mi was filled with various ham & paste.

Bo Lat Banh Mi – not everyday you come across wrapped meat in a baguette . Ordered it and I need to warn to train those mouth to fit those sand which into it. It was filled with meat and it cost us 10.30$

Overall, we enjoyed the fillings of the Bang Mi’s. The only thing we wished was that the bread could be thicker to absorb the gravy’s & source. The bread was breaking halfway through the banh mi. Secondly, we also wished they would add more pickled veggie or chilli to help enhance the flavour better.

Overall we’re enjoying it so much we’ll definitely come back to try out other banh mi’s

Honestly, I find this place quite overrated and overpriced. The roasted pork bánh mì (Bánh mì heo quay) was extremely salty — even my wife and mother-in-law, who are from Vietnam, couldn’t take it because it was just too much.

The Vietnamese Chicken Pho (Phở Gà) was not too bad. The portion was generous, which I appreciate. However, I don’t quite understand why both the beef and chicken pho are priced the same at $12.90. Usually, chicken should be cheaper than beef, so the pricing doesn’t really make sense to me.

Good stuff, one of the better ones around

Really good with crispy buns and lots of fillings. Ordered quite a few to try out for takeaway. Roast pork is delish, full of umami and not salty. Grilled pork is also delish! The super is also great. Paklov is also great. And the popiah is also full of meat fillings and very well flavoured! But the intestine and pig ear is not my cup of tea.

Just find that the combi is lacking a little bit of tanginess and heat.

Will definitely be back to dine in and to enjoy the food at the low tables and chairs, just like in Saigon.

Banh Mi is worth every penny here, portion is big and filled with meat like in picture. Try beef if u can or roasted pork for the alternative. Beef noodle soup is good as well but not price friendly for me, worth a try tho.
