One of the best spots you can go to in NYC Chinatown for a classic banh mi sandwich! The baguette is toasted & crunchy, the pickled radish gives it a kick, and the protein is very filling (pun intended haha). This snack is nice paired with a vietnamese coffee and chilling inside as they have counter type seating. They take cash & card, and would recommend to locals, tourists, and anyone!

Quick, small place to grab some banh mi and other sides if you’re in the mood for Viet food. I had the #1 which was a grilled pork and it was a good size with good flavor. Bread was fresh and not stale either.
I also did a shrimp summer roll and papaya salad with shrimp which was very fresh.

Delish banh mi! Ordered the number 1 and the pork was great. It is very busy so you may wait a while to get your food, but it’s a good spot to grab a bite.

I ordered a pork banh mi and was decent and reasonably priced, there is seating and no tip is required at this establishment. Service is fast as well. It was a bit on the sweet side which I wasn’t a huge fan of. I know this has nothing to do with the food itself, but I did notice that they had several koi/goldfish cramped in one tank and one of them seemed to have a tumor/skin issue (or maybe even a birth defect). That tank seemed too small for even one of them. :/

I personally believe this is the best vietnamese Banh Mi in manhattan. I always get #13 which is the OG cold cut combo.
If you want to Introduce your friends to Banh Mi… bring them here.
First timers would probably like the #1 sandwich. Which is just bbq pork. Or the #10 which is the lemongrass pork sandwich.
Fast friendly customer service and very organized

I work nearby, and this place has become my go-to lunch spot over the past few months. The food is consistently delicious, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. It’s rare to find something this tasty and this reasonably priced. I genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

I was craving a banh mi and decided to give this spot a try. There was a bit of a line, which makes me think it’s a popular choice.
I ordered the spicy BBQ pork banh mi and it was flavorful and satisfying. The only downside is that it was a little heavy on the veggies and light on the meat. I also didn’t find it spicy at all, despite the name.
Overall, still a solid banh mi and worth trying.

We’ve been coming here since our highschool days and are always happy to support the small business because their banh mi is delicious! Normally I’d rate them a 5/5 but this time we went in last Friday and bought a number 1 to eat over the weekend. We went to reheat it and found out that there was barely any meat and vegetables in it. This definitely isn’t how I remembered it and we paid $9-10 plus tip too. Super upsetting because we specifically made the trip to Chinatown for banh mi Saigon. Not sure what happened but usually there’s more meat pieces and deli slices and definitely way more pickled vegetables. Thank goodness we bought a side of pickled vegetables too. I really hope this was a one off but really disappointed

Probably the best banh mi place in Manhattan Chinatown. The only other one that’s close or equivalent is the one on Broome.
Protip: you can order sandwiches “for tomorrow”. If you tell them you want a sandwich “for tomorrow”, they will separate each component for you to assemble later. The baguette will be fresh and not cut and everything is tied tight in a bag to prevent the smell of the pickled veggies leaking out. IYKYK
