Truly fantastic banh mi and fresh rolls. Crispy, flaky bread. Delicious, authentic schmear of pâté. Affordable. Amazing. Not a place to sleep on if you’re into Vietnamese. And, before I forget, a knock-out iced Vietnamese coffee. What more could one want than such a convergence of deliciousness?

The best banh mi you can find in Boston outside of Dorchester! Highly recommend the lemongrass beef sandwich easily customizable too on ordering screens (+/- and more or less of mayo, pâté, jalapeños, veggies on the side, etc) the service is always really friendly as well. Not many places where $9 gets you food like this nowadays!

I tried the sandwich again and it’s just not flavorful enough for me. I got extra mayo and it doesn’t have a lot of mayo in it, the vegetables don’t taste marinated at all especially the cucumber. There are much better ones.

Nice solid bahn mi! I would say not my absolute favorite ever but the meat was very very flavorful, the bread was super fresh. Personally I would prefer the vegetables have a stronger marinade, and way more Mayo/pate. The pork was good but there were a few fatty bits.

Location was nice! They obviously made an effort to make it look nice and they have tap to pay and iPad ordering. Very easy to understand and customizable menu. I would say if you’ve never had a bahn mi before a place like this is a great place.

Food is less than mid here. I don’t know where all the 5 start reviews are coming from, but it’s definitely inflated.

Ordered the cold cut banh mi. There’s just some cha lua and some other very thin piece of meat. Usually you get a more different types of cold cut meat.

Also ordered the shrimp rolls. The peanut sauce was really watery and overly sweet. Inside it looks like there’s two shrimp per roll but they split one shrimp in half, so in each roll, there’s only one whole shrimp. For the price, at least put two whole shrimp per roll.

Idk how this location keeps getting replaced by a new banh mi restaurant, let alone how they expanded into the space next door to the right.

It’s just not good, let alone the price. I know things are going to be expensive in Boston, but at least back those prices up with good food.

People who say this place is “GOOD” or “AUTHENTIC” don’t know good food or flavor if it hit them in the face.

This place has come a long way. New space is larger and a bit more modern.

Very kind staff and service.

Their food and drinks are delicious! I’ve tried and recommend their Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt, Chả Lụa, Mì Gà, Mì Bò.

Making it a combo with a drink and spring rolls is such a good deal.

Pretty good Banh Mi, and a great price, but definitely not the best in Boston. We got the Cold Cut Special, Special Pork, Pork Combo, and 5 Spice Chicken. I would rank them least to best in that order. The 5 spice chicken and pork combo were quite delicious. The cold cut special was pretty mid. The bread was a bit stale tasting and way too hard and crumbling on the outside. Not hard in a good, crusty way, but rather hard in a crumbling, stale way. Saigon Fusion has much better Banh Mi for $4 more, although for the price of only $8, Huong Que is quite good. I would recommend going if you’re in Chinatown and want a cheap and quiet bite. I recommend the Pork Combo and 5 Spice Chicken.

This unassuming little place surprised us big timed because they are serving THE BEST Banh Mi we’ve ever had! The meat and pate is flavorful, perfectly crunchy and sweet carrot, on top of the flakiest bread, just heavenly. We will absolutely 1000% come back every time we visit Boston in the future!

We ate here 4 years ago and decided to come back — not with high hopes, just expecting something decent for two people. Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The food was served cold, and even after asking for it to be reheated, it was still barely warm and totally unappetizing. The ham had a strange, off smell — definitely not stored properly. They even added tomato (also cold?!) which made it worse. The bread wasn’t hot or crunchy like we remembered from the Chinatown version. We paid around $35 for two and couldn’t eat a single bite. Left everything behind. Really disappointing.

Small spot with a big heart. Everyone in the kitchen was bustling around to ensure the food was fresh and up to high standards.

A solid banh mi, but could have used a little more oomph in all the ingredients. Got the #2 banh mi cha lua, very nostalgic but wish the meat itself had a little more flavor. Same with the pickled veggies, could’ve used a little more time in the brine. The homemade pate and mayo though, were great!! And the bread is super fresh.

Tried the beef banh Mi sandwich. Good quality ingredients and I loved they add jalapenos. They also serve Vietnamese coffee.
