We got a seat as soon as we walked in, there are plenty of tables to choose from. The space is very inviting and clean.
Our server is normally Sabrina, but today it was Shelby- she is so cheerful and friendly . We ordered the vegetable curry with tofu (medium +) and drunken noodles with chicken (medium). We did not have to wait long to taste our mouth watering food- it arrived as ordered and hot. Spice level was perfect for each dish. Our waters were filled as needed and we were checked in on periodically to be sure we were doing good.
This is a busy place! They do a great job managing tables and take out orders. Small town vibes with exceptional service and high quality authentic Thai food.
You know we’ll be back!
THANK YOU
I can’t say enough good things about Bangkok Taste! I ordered takeout, my top 3 favorites, and every single bite was to die for. Even picking up the order felt special—the staff was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like I was being greeted by old friends. ❤️
Chicken Pad Thai (No Heat): This dish is a comfort food dream. Tender chicken, soft rice noodles, scrambled egg, bean sprouts, and onions, all brought to life with crushed peanuts and a squeeze of lemon. Light, flavorful, and absolutely addictive.
️ Chicken Curry Pad Thai (No Heat): The yellow curry sauce takes it to another level! Creamy, bold, and beautifully spiced without being too hot. It’s everything you love about Pad Thai, with a rich, savory twist.
Chicken Fried Rice: Total comfort in a container. Juicy chicken, eggs, peas, carrots, and onions stir-fried to perfection. Every bite had that amazing smoky wok flavor that’s so hard to find.
Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, Bangkok Taste never misses. Flavorful, fresh, and made with love this place is a gem. If you haven’t tried it yet, go now. Your taste buds will thank you!
I’ve tried a variety of vegetarian dishes, and my husband always loves the chicken and/or shrimp meals. Always delicious, hot, and in great portions.
The service is always sweet. They’re clearly a family restaurant, which is cool to see.
We’ve driven out from Grand Rapids just for their food more than a few times. Would recommend!
– C1 Sesame Chicken (spice level 5 of 7): Oops. I thought it was 5 of 10. My bad. Wow, that was intense. I can do habanero hot and “HOT” according to them is about that. Be careful with their spice. I personally would probably do medium (3) next time to enjoy it better or medium+ (4) if I was feeling adventurous.
That said, the chicken was amazing. The breading was soaked with the sweet sauce nicely and was delicious. It was a tad tangy, but I liked it in this case. The majority of the dish was chicken by far, but there was still enough veggies to add to the flavor some excellent dynamics.
I weighed what I ate and it was almost exactly 1.25 lbs with a lot of sauce still left. It is a fairly sizable portion and a good price for that much at this quality.
This was picked up and brought to us at work. The packaging did not do well for my dish and it made for a real mess in the bag with the runny sauce. There was still plenty left, though. It was still plenty hot (temperature-wise) when it arrived, though. That was NOT an issue at all.
– Conclusion: I have not had Thai much, but I’ve had enough to know a little of what to expect. This was medium quality and a fair price. I’d recommend them if you like Thai.
Work provided this lunch on a Thursday.
Try the Bangkok Fried Rice (any meat you want, but the shrimp is amazing!) I like it at a spice level 1, just enough heat to let you know it’s there but not blast you or build into a furnace! You can’t get this dish at any other Thai restaurant in town. It has some subtle flavors, a little sweet, a little savory, a lot delicious! I spent 3 glorious weeks eating in Thailand. We even went to the Blue Elephant in Bangkok. This simple Bangkok Fried Rice dish sums up my favorite flavors on this trip. I often had a slightly simpler fried rice dish like this one for breakfast in Thailand.
But there are lots of other yummy things on the menu… the crispy rolls are hard to turn down, green curry, pad thai (theirs is so authentic!) And much, much more!
It’s just a little strip mall restaurant, but their service and food are top drawer. And I love seeing the royal family pictures and other decor.
The green guava candies are also a unique Thai touch as you leave.
Go here, eat amazing food, and experience the warm, friendly Thai culture.
