Came to the country for a quick visit and I wanted Asian food and this place popped up. It’s in a college area. The food was good but the service was even better. The interior had lots of authentic things from Thailand, but as you open the door it had an old smell. Like the building has been there for centuries. We looked past it because of the Thai design with the hopes that the food tastes good. And it did, yummy. Happy food exploring.

Great host. Most of the food was good, except the rice dish which lacked flavor. Great curry dishes, though.

As a long time Thai food lover, I really wanted to like this restaurant. I ordered green curry and fresh rolls. The green curry only tasted of hot chili pepper and wasn’t even green in color. If it tasted better the color doesn’t matter to me, but it wasn’t very flavorful like I would have liked. I was more unhappy with the fresh rolls. The shrimp was not at all fresh looking as you can see in the picture. I did not finish my food. I really hope the owners and cooks do better because we need a good Thai restaurant here. Although the costumer service was great and the food was prepared fast for a decent price for lunch.

Had the pad Thai and it was delicious…absolutely loved our server and would go back just to talk to her. The restaurant itself is rather rundown and has that mildewy smell unique to old buildings in a humid climate. My suggestion – just get take out. The food is worth it!

Placed an order via Take Out Pros for Drunken Noodles the total was for $28.00. The order came in a very small (dessert) box which was very disappointing for that amount of $$. I called to make sure the order was correct and they responded with yes. But, said they would offer me a larger order or my next order. No thank you… there won’t be another order placed the food was not that good.

The food was bad. I mean like really bad. We were the only ones there. And then the creepy owner came over and sat on the edge of the next table over and started talking to us and it was SO awkward. Could not leave fast enough.

I went in to eat there 2 days ago with a friend who was born and raised in Thailand. Asked for water. Was brought 2 warm waters with no ice. I ordered rice, chicken, cashew, and pineapple. Don’t know name of the dish friend got. Mine came and pineapple was starting to rot. Had a bad taste. We both tasted the same rotten taste. The other dish was bad also and was not authentic Thai food. Waitress came back and said he said ( guess owner or cheif) the pineapple was fine.I I wasn’t in an argumentative mood. But did notice owner didn’t come back out. I paid. And left a $8 tip, because waitresses rely on tips and it wasn’t her fault. Won’t ever go back again. Should of gone to Lemongrass. But wanted to try this place. Should of known it was bad. Was only 1 other customer in there, and it was mid dinner time.

The service was sincere. I had the red curry and it was very salty and heavy on the fish sauce. It was unsettling how not good it was. They were out of chopsticks, limes, fresh rolls, sticky rice – they did not have any fresh basil or anything green to help cut the unpleasantness of the red curry besides raw cabbage – which, while they tried, was not a fix. The rice on the side was perfect. The pad Thai was very underwhelming. There were not many of the things in it that made pad Thai, pad Thai. I really wish this had been better. I liked the people and how cute the place looked. I will try again later in the spring perhaps. Maybe this was a hiccup. But based on my experience yesterday, I would not come back. They apparently make the fresh rolls and some of the other appetizers only at night because they are popular with the college students. However! They should not hand you a menu with potential items and it not be available until later in the day.

Thai restaurants are an easy call for me: I order a green curry with chicken, prepared spicy hot and I let the chef show me what he or she can do. It’s a strategy that has served me well…until now.

Normally I like to give places the benefit of the doubt especially if they are local, but this was my third time ordering from this restaurant and getting sub-par servings for what seems to be an unreasonably high price. Service was perfect, the young woman who took my order was very kind and helpful. However, the last two times I have ordered food, the rice was just a tiny amount and when I got home, I had to make my own to supplement what I was given, which defeats the entire purpose of eating from a restaurant! I was willing to try them again even though I was shorted on the rice last time, thinking maybe it would be better. But I was let down once again by not only skimpy rice portions but very little curry to go with it. They are also always out of mango sticky rice when I ask, which is a Thai restaurant staple, and had no Thai tea. Lastly I want to say that I really want to support this place because the only other Thai place I’ve been to in town is far away from downtown and bland. I just cannot abide by paying $30 for two people with barely enough for a meal for a single person.
