The curry sauces were genuinely very good, but unfortunately the meat let the dishes down. We ordered pork and chicken curries, and in all cases the meat was quite tough. The coconut rice was also disappointing, as there was very little coconut flavour. The “special” rice mainly differed by the addition of peas, which didn’t justify the name or price.
The mixed starter platter was the biggest let-down. The dumplings were particularly poor — my mother found them completely inedible, and I found them extremely unpleasant. Overall, the starters had the look and taste of frozen food that had been fried, boiled, or grilled straight from a packet.
On a positive note, the staff were lovely and created a great atmosphere, which made the experience more enjoyable. However, this made the food quality and pricing even more disappointing. For three people, ordering just two starters, three curries, and a couple of drinks each, the bill came to over £100. We left feeling dissatisfied and, frankly, not that it represented good value for money.

Absolutely amazing we surprised our mother for her birthday they let me in early to give them a cake and decorate the room , they brought it out after the meal and made a fuss of her ! food was great and staff really attentive, good value for money too first time trying this type of food , curry were very nice, would highly recommend , price per person includes drinks !

If you are in Deal, you must visit Bangkok Pavilion. If not for the amazing food, then to meet the restaurant owner. A family owned business full of atmospheric delightful authentic decorative feel. The Thai owner was our host, and i found him warm welcoming and funny character. This establishment is His passion, and it shows with his engagement with his customers. I ordered the prawns and broccoli with coconut rice and a Bingha beer. The aroma as the food was served made me want to get stuck in. But i had to take a few photos first. A really nice restaurant, a friendly atmosphere, well worth a visit. Highly recommended !! BOOK IN ADVANCE to secure a table, especially over the weekend.

My favourite restaurant in Deal. The food is always amazing and tasty, the staff are like family, so friendly and always have a smile for you. Love it here and always come to Bangkok Pavillion for special meals and evenings. We had mains, desserts and drinks/shots each persons bill was roughly £40-50!

This is such an amazing, authentic looking place. Staff were very friendly and helpful! The scaffolding out the front was a little eye-sore, but it’s just external refurbishment going on at the time! The decor inside was exceptional and its like you’ve been transported to Thailand! The food was fantastic, I had Duck in Garlic and Chilli and the taste was exceptional! Would totally recommend to anyone!

Was there on Wednesday evening. As always the service was fabulous and the food even better. The menu is packed full of a large selection of tasty options suitable for meat eaters, pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans. Who could ask for more. See you soon xx

Delicious fresh Thai food set amongst interesting decor.
Staff were friendly and accommodating, our personal favourite was the tom ghai khar soup. All the food was wonderfully flavoured, the prawn toast and dumplings from the starters were very nice.
I had the duck with garlic and chilli, served in a duck shaped dish, beautiful.
It made for a lovely evening out for my birthday, we will certainly visit again when in the area.

Came here on the 25th March for a friend’s retirement meal and the food was Delicious , I loved it staff were great and drinks were reasonable. I will definitely be visiting here again.
