We had high hopes for this restaurant as they had interesting dishes like Jumping Tofu but the food wasn’t as flavorful as expected. The best dish we had was the Drunken Noodle which had a good kick to them without being too spicy. The Ginger Sauce Wok Stir Fry was ok and just like the Jumping Tofu, it didn’t have very distinct flavor profile. The service was good but sometimes slow. We did appreciate the restaurant having a vegan section and labeling some items that could be veganized

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Bangkok Bistro! The food was incredible, the salmon belly sashimi was unbelievably fresh, and my surf and turf roll was chef’s kiss. My husband ordered a lobster dish, and he couldn’t stop talking about how perfectly it was cooked.
We also loved the presentation of every dish. Everything came out looking so beautiful and thoughtfully prepared, it made the meal feel even more special.
Our server, was an older gentleman I believe his name was Jean, was wonderful! He was so friendly, made great recommendations, and really added to the whole dining experience. The restaurant itself was very clean with a relaxed, chill vibe that made our night even better.
We finished with the fried Oreos, and OMG, we left absolutely stuffed and happy.
I highly recommend this spot and can’t wait to come back!

I arranged with the restaurant to have a birthday celebration here for a total of 8 guests. I wanted to select a set menu ahead of time so I met with Bob (owner) 2 days before who took time to discuss menu options with me as my preference was to have a variety of sushi & sashimi dishes presented on a couple of “Boats.”
Once I reviewed my options I left the rest to Bob & his team to coordinate……needless to say they did not disappoint.
The entire event from start to finish was amazing. Our server (Simon) was on hand for all of our needs, wine, waters etc., and together with the other servers he ensured a smooth transition between courses. We started off light with refreshing miso soup followed by some chicken satay and crab rangoon. The peanut sauce with the satay is to die for!!!
Soon came the main presentation 2 amazing BOATS with enough sushi and sashimi for 10!!! The presentation was spectacular and so tastefully presented. Each boat had a different selection so at an appropriate time Simon switched them to either end of the table allowing our guests to get a sample of everything. Bob left nothing to chance and pretty much included everything on the sushi menu and plenty of it!!
Before you knew it 3 hours had passed and it was time for coffee and desert!! No Bangkok Bistro birthday would be complete without some warm, fresh, peanut glazed Thai Donuts!!! Yum.

The menu has a fantastic mix of the basics and some really creative specialty rolls. I started with the Miso Soup and Seaweed Salad, both of which were fresh and flavorful. As for the sushi, the [Insert Roll Name, e.g., Spicy Tuna or Rainbow Roll] was a standout. The fish-to-rice ratio was spot on—they aren’t trying to fill you up on just rice here. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and the presentation was much nicer than I expected for the price point.
The Service & Atmosphere
The vibe inside is casual but still feels like a ‘night out.’ It’s clean, well-lit, and has a great energy without being deafeningly loud. The service was impressively fast; our appetizers arrived within minutes, and the sushi followed shortly after. One of my favorite spots in town: lots of good choices in the menu, my go-tos are: coconut chicken hot pot soup, duck noodle soup, chicken cashew, poke bowl, fried calamari, lobster pad thai. Service is friendly. It is an open kitchen concept so you’ll end up smelling like thai food-not a bad thing 😉

It was our first time trying this Thai and sushi place. The food was absolutely delicious. However, the panang curry we ordered took a while because our server initially told us that the kitchen had put spicy and needed to redo it, so we had to wait an extra 25 minutes. Other than that, the food was great, and our server was very apologetic about the delay.

I’m such a very observant person and I would noticed everything. This must be a Thai Asian fusion restaurant, because I see Mexican people cooking in the kitchen? One of the most negative side of this place was the smelling bathroom as you approach it, and there was no toilet paper! Otherwise, the service and, the foods we ordered were all good.

Walked in, seated immediately and ordered hot sake to start which was a nice alternative to chilled sake.
Wonton soup was superb. A definite must. Octopus salad was fresh and flavorful. The eel &jalapeño sushi was so so so good. All the food was great, even the ice tea was good, which i dont typically drink.
Wait staff was courteous, prompt and very pleasant. Food came quickly and everything was delicious.
This is my new sushi spot!
