Nice meals we ordered 4 rice bowls included 2 fried rice 1 with beef, other with chicken that’s our favorite. We ordered 2 mango sticky rice to go as well. We’re on our road trip week and great to find delicious home taste meals. Definitely recommend this place. Congrats to the pretty owner as well, she’s a nice and kind hearted lady 🙂 gave some references for us on our way to San Fransisco.

OMG! Missing this place already! Wish they were closer! Haha

One of the best Thai Food we have ever had in the US! Being Thai and coming from Houston, Texas, this should say a lot! We weren’t hesitant to drive an hour from the airport to give them a go!

One year old self-start up restaurant owned by a husband and wife, both are super friendly and welcoming! Perfect representation of how locals are in Thailand! They made us feel super welcomed since the moment we walked in!

Simple restaurant setup with two quick kiosk to key in order plus a cashier supporting the overflow of customers.

We went at the perfect timing at around 11 am ish, right before lunch time rush and left right when the rush arrived.

Must Try! If we could, we would have tried everything on the menu! All items we ordered plus the free items they made for us to try were super delicious and authentic; not to mention flavorful and the spices were on point! So those they love Thai-spice, don’t be scared to let them know!

We had/ tried…
– Thai Tea: 9/10, came quite close to my mum’s Thai Tea and perfect sweetness!
– Pad Kra Prao/ Chili Basil with Fried Eggs: 9/10, love the flavor explosion in this dish! Definitely reminded me of local street Pad Kra Prao over in Thailand because they use thai holy basil and not sweet like those other Americanized-Thai places.
– Kao Mun Gai: 9/10, OMG! So so good, if you know how to make this or have had a good one, you know that it’s all in the rice and sauce. The super tender chicken was a cherry on top! My 3 years old son demolished this!
– 2 Types of Roti: 10/10! 1) Banana Roti Mataba from Southern Thailand! Reminded me of home and growing up in the South of Thailand! 2.) Simple Roti, simple yet delicious with the perfect chewy texture – The dough is homemade by the way by the wife!
– This simple but delicious homemade Shrimp Chips – my son loves this, they even gave us a box of it to go!

Thank you so much guys! Kob Khun Mak Mak ครับพี่ๆ อร่อยมากๆครับ!

This is a great place for Thai food and I can say that without guilt being a Thai myself. The service was wonderful. They have some seating inside. Food was extremely good. The fried chicken was absolutely a must try. It’s super crispy like street food in Thailand and having it with sticky rice was probably the best thing I had this year. The curry omurice was also very good. It’s quite an Asian fusion but the egg was super smooth and whatever meat in the curry was super tender. Starters and desserts menu are really Thai. I love it! Totally recommend!

Great new spot in the neighborhood! I got the krapow rice bowl last week, and it was so good that I came back for the same, plus a boba Thai coffee this week. Spice level is good – the medium had me sweating.

Kiosk ordering and food comes pretty fast. And they’re got some tables for dine-in as well.

Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff, and fantastic food!

The restaurant has a lovely homely vibe. All the staff are really friendly and cheerful and we’re happy to provide great food recommendations.

I had the Grandma’s rice bowl, crab roll, mango sticky rice, and a secret menu item: Southern Thai Tea.

The star of the show was definitely Grandma’s rice bowl. The rice was perfectly cooked, covered with a thick layer of creamy scrambled eggs, and topped off with slow-cooked marinated beef made from a family recipe handed down from the owners grandmother.

The crab roll was generously filled with crab meat and deep fried to crispy perfection.

The mango sticky rice featured fresh, sweet, and juicy mangoes with sweet sticky rice – tastes exactly the same as the mango sticky rice I had during my holiday in Thailand.

The Southern Thai tea was fragrant and not too sweet (unlike the ones I had in Thailand which were super sweet). It was a nice little secret menu item.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Bangkok BBQ Bowl! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Its great option for thai fast food, offering bowls. The staff and service is really good., so is the ambience. However, if you are looking for thai dine in menu, you may not find all options.

I never thought I’d find such authentic Thai flavors here in LA! The Krapow eggplant tofu was rich and flavorful without being overly spicy, and the Thai iced tea was perfectly creamy and sweet — absolutely delicious.

If you’re looking for real Thai food that tastes just like what you’d have in Thailand, this place will not disappoint. There are so many dishes on the menu that I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Amazing! The steak bowl was very good but the chicken teriyaki bowl was 11/10. Mango sticky rice was one of the best we’ve ever had. Literally everything on the menu looked so good- can’t wait to come back and try more. Also loved meeting Nute. Her customer service was top tier. Wishing you continued success!! -Rin & Pablo
