Reviews
We ordered four dishes. The Tom Yum soup came in a generous portion and was packed with chicken and mushrooms. The Pad See Ew was well-portioned and satisfying, and the chicken satay was impressively tender. The green papaya salad was fresh and well-seasoned, though personally I was hoping for some chicken or shrimp (preferably large, meaty shrimp rather than tiny, dry ones), or a bit more papaya and less lettuce. Still, the flavor was right on point.
For dessert, we ordered the sticky rice with coconut ice cream. The rice was warm, and the ice cream was loaded with dried coconut chunks. We highly recommend this dessert for anyone who enjoys lychee-style ice cream. The sticky rice was surprisingly fragrant and had just the right level of sweetness to finish the meal.
Overall, a healthy, flavorful, and enjoyable first experience. Would definitely return.
Egg rolls-10/10 wish they served a sweet & spicey/hot dipping sauce instead of just sweet
I had the red curry. Delicious.
Hubby had Eggplant Lover- eggplant was undercooked but my hubby still ate it all. They were very busy and everyone guest was very contented with their experience in my view.
If the owner is taking requests…I love squash/pumpkin in a curry
Over-all…recommend
There’s a reason it’s almost always packed. The parking lot also gets very full, so be prepared to wait or find side street parking.
But once you’re in, it’ll be worth it. The menu is large, covering the staples: stir fries, noodles, curries, soups, appetizers, and drinks. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I also love extremely spicy food and they get close – but they offer condiment trays of nam pla prik, chili flake, and pickled chili to add the finishing touch.
The service is always very friendly and attentive as well. Really, not much negative to say here – it’s a very nice little Thai spot.
The restaurant was decorated in cozy and warm lights with holidays decorations. The host was very welcome.
We ordered a few dishes and they were delicious and pretty authentic for Thai cuisine. Many people in our group loved the Pineapple Spareribs, but my personal favorites were the Papaya Salad and Pad See Yew.
Would love to visit again the next time we visit LA!
I would warmly recommend this place and would like to go back soon!
My family and I love celebrating special occasions here! Although the prices are steep, the decadent and flavorful food makes it well worth the splurge! My family’s go to dishe is the Tom Kha Soup to share and my sister’s favorite dish is the Pad See Eew, which she can’t stop raving about.
Standouts:
– Authentic spice levels
– Kind and welcoming staff
– Must-try dishes: Eggplant Curry and refreshing Basil Lemonade! As for dessert, the Thai Tea Layered Crepe Cake (so satisfying) and Mango Sticky Rice
Ideal for milestone events and celebrations :p
However my brother and family went a while back ago and liked it a lot so either an off night or things have gone down hill…
