I recently visited Bangkok Ave and had a great experience. The restaurant has a very warm and cozy atmosphere with beautiful Thai-inspired decor. It really feels like stepping into a small restaurant in Bangkok.
The food was excellent. We ordered several dishes to share and everything was beautifully presented. The seafood tom yum soup was definitely a highlight — it was served hot and full of flavor with shrimp, herbs, and a rich, spicy and sour broth. It was very comforting and authentic.
The mango sticky rice was also delicious. The mango was sweet and fresh, and the sticky rice with coconut milk was the perfect balance.
I also really enjoyed the Thai salad, which was light, refreshing, and full of vibrant flavors.
Overall, the atmosphere, food, and presentation made it a wonderful dining experience. It’s a great place to come with friends and enjoy Thai cuisine. I would definitely come back again!

Amazing food and presentation! We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was flavorful and beautifully served. The Tom Yum had a rich, aromatic broth with generous ingredients, and the curry was creamy with just the right level of spice. The appetizers were all delicious—crispy, fresh, and perfect for sharing. Drinks were refreshing and paired well with the meal. Great atmosphere and a fun dining experience overall. Definitely coming back again!

I had an amazing dinner at Bangkok Avenue! The steamed fish with lime and chili was absolutely outstanding -super fresh, perfectly cooked, and loaded with bright, zesty flavors. The sauce had the perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory, and the toppings made every bite refreshing. The Tom Yum soup was also a highlight. Rich, aromatic, and full of herbs, with just the right amount of heat. It’s the kind of comfort food that warms you instantly. We also ordered the fried rice, and it was delicious – fragrant, not greasy at all, and packed with tender chicken and crunchy scallions. A simple dish but done really well. Overall, everything tasted authentic and flavorful. Definitely one of the best Thai spots around. Highly recommend!

I had no idea there was such a solid Thai restaurant spot here. The deep-fried whole fish with mango is a must-order to me! The fish is HUGE, fried perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. It might look a little intimidating, but if you love whole-fish dishes, this one delivers big time! Really!
The deep-fried soft-shell crabs were another highlight! Ultra crispy on the outside, and bursting with flavor inside. I love their dipping sauce that comes with the dish too!
If you’re a thai food lover, this place is absolutely worth the visit in Little Neck!

Bangkok Avenue is such a pleasant surprise in Long Island.
The space is clean and comfortable, and the staff are warm and attentive. Food comes out fast too.
I ordered the Soft Shell Crab Mango Salad — perfectly crispy crab with a bright mix of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. The Steamed Branzino was incredibly fresh and tender, and the tangy lime chili sauce made it even better. The Tom Yum Ramen was packed with seafood and had a rich, flavorful broth. Even their mocktails were impressive — both the Pina Colada and Rosy Pop were refreshing and well-balanced.
Finished with the Crème Brulee Cheesecake, which was light, creamy, and not overly sweet.
Overall, everything was delicious, portions were generous, and the experience was great.
Definitely a spot I’ll come back to!

We really enjoyed our meal here! The soft-shell crab was crispy and super tasty, and the curry beef with rotti was our favorite — so flavorful and comforting. The beef noodle soup was a hit with our kid too, very fragrant and easy to eat. Thai iced tea is always a must for us and theirs was perfect. Great spot for families — we’ll definitely be back!

I visited this place on a Saturday night and was seated at the high table, which was pretty uncomfortable. However, the waitress was very kind and let us switch to a regular table once one became available.
As for the food, I wasn’t a big fan of the Crab Omelette. It didn’t seem to have much crab and wasn’t quite special enough to justify the price. On the other hand, the Tom Yum Ramen was really delicious with lots of different ingredients in the pot. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Thai Matcha Iced Tea, it was unexpectedly good.
