I had my birthday party here (yes, a bday party, I am an adult) on Christmas eve of all days, and they went above and beyond. They were SUPER accommodating to our giant group of people, and were so incredibly nice and going out of their way to interact and make us laugh. I got “The Godfather” in bowl form and it was so delicious and the drinks were REALLY good, and fairly priced. This is also a really fun music venue. A Richmond staple, be sure to check this place out!

The salsa here is incredibly fresh—honestly the best I’ve had in a while. The chips are also freshly made to order, which makes a huge difference. We started with the empanadas, which were packed with flavor. The dipping sauce that came with them tasted more like a bland marinara, so I recommend using the salsa instead—it really elevates them.
We also tried the taco trio, and the Birria tacos are an absolute must! My husband had the nachos, and the portion was so big we couldn’t even put a dent in them. I had the seafood burrito, and it was loaded with seafood and bursting with flavor.

I was here on tour shooting the Bobby Mahoney band. The tacos and margaritas were so freakin good. I had the happy hour 3 for $5 soft tacos and they were so freaking good. The salsa was also some of the best I’ve had. Cool bartenders. Overall super fun place for seeing live original music

Bandito’s comes off as very understaffed. Our waitress had to man a full bar and wait multiple tables, on a Saturday night. There were a couple of times where it came off like she was stalling so the kitchen could keep up with orders. The food we received was not worth the price we paid at $30-$40 a head. Entrees tasted like they were rushed in the kitchen and inauthentic. The one positive was that the holiday cocktails were very nice. Overall, I would avoid this place till their food and service can match their prices.

I visited Banditos during that awkward hour between lunch and dinner, so it wasn’t busy at all. The bartenders were super friendly, and helpful! I tried the chips and salsa/queso, and the queso was phenomenal! 10/10 I would definitely order it again. I also ordered the Diablo salad with the roasted red pepper dressing. It was HUGE! This was the first time in my life that I couldn’t finish a salad. Huge portion sizes seem to be the norm at this restaurant, so I would recommend splitting your order with someone else. Even then, I think there may be leftovers.

Had been here before, honey and I wanted late night tacos and this place was open until 2. Ordered to go and got 6 beef tacos, plain wings with fury sauce in the side, and chicken nachos. I personally wasn’t a fan of the nachos because I like them deconstructed but the tacos and wings were excellent. The sauce was really good, a little heat but not too much. While waiting the bartenders were sociable, the atmosphere was nice with music playing and the basketball game on TV. Before leaving the waitress recommended their ranch for our wings and it’s housemade and really good.

usually order for pick up, first time walking in to sit at the bar( first time inside), sat for 10+ mins before leaving due to not being helped. bartender was taking personal phone call… but the burritos are good! mixed feelings about this one, walked to another local restaurant and was greeted right away!
