We were coming from the maritime aquarium, and stopped by for lunch. group of 6! they were very attentive and very nice. great food! we were all happy with our meals. the man I believe who is the owner was also there and he was as well very nice and attentive with us!! They immediately offered a kids chair for my baby and brought it to me as well! great place to eat at.I will definitely be back even if I live 40 mins away!

After visiting the Maritime Aquarium, my family and I were wanting to eat lunch. That is when we discovered Bandido’s Mexican Restauraunt. Upon entering we were greeted by Gabriel who was extremely friendly and helpful. We ate chips and salsa (x2), kids chicken tenders and fries, birria quesadillas, and the surf and turf. Each meal was filled with a ton of flavor. The chips were fresh, salsa full of flavor with just the right hint of spice, and the chicken fingers and fries were warm and tasty. The birria quesadillas were oozing with birria and cheese with a delicious consome sauce to dip into. It also had tasty rice, black beans, guacamole, pico de Gallo, and sour cream. Finally, the Mexican Surf and Turf included beautifully seasoned and cooked steak, shrimp, peppers, and mushrooms in a tequila cream sauce. The sauce was hearty and flavorful, bringing the dish together. Lastly, the soda was nice and cold and Gabriel made us a mango-lemonade that was absolutely delicious. The flavor of the food, customer service, and ambiance made for a delightful lunch.

If you’re looking for delicious food, great drinks, and a good time… look no further! This is by far my favorite restaurant in SONO. Not only is the food amazing, but every time I go I am treated like family. The owners, Gabi and Jose, ALWAYS go above and beyond for all their customers to make sure they receive the best service. Not only is this a great restaurant, but on the weekends they always have great deejays playing the hottest music. It’s a perfect place to go and watch a sports game, eat, drink, party and relax!

Delicious and fast! Our waiter was also amazing and brought everything out fast since we were in a rush. Please do yourself a favor and get the guacamole, it’s homemade and fresh and has the perfect amount of seasoning and toppings. We also ordered the chimichangas and it was delicious! So crispy and flavorful. I’d also recommend upgrading your margarita to top shelf, only a few bucks more.

Food: Very flavorful and filling. It’s a bit of a hybrid of classic favorites and modern presentation, but still keeps the authenticity and flavors of Mexican cuisine. Our personal favorite was there Chipotle sauce which is packed with flavor. The calamari was excellent; not rubbery nor overly-breaded; with the lime the Chipotle sauce is the perfect combination with the calamari. From our photos, the steak “dish” is actually the ‘Bandido Salad’ which explains my modern presentation statement. Again, this was full of flavor, not dried out nor burnt; cooked perfectly to Medium over lettuce and side of onions; excellent.

The birria flautas were beautifully crafted and eating them was an out of body experience. My world has changed for the better. Nothing will ever be the same again. I feel that I am able to face my fears and become a better person now. Order the birria flautas and you will be rewarded handsomely as I was. Do yourself a favor and eat them.
