Food is always excellent and cooked to perfection. Best steak in Huntsville and puts Texas Roadhouse to shame every time. We split our stake because it’s so huge and get a side of fried shrimp.
I don’t want to say too much because some may think I’m exaggerating ( but I’m not)
I literally want to go back just for a cold diet coke because it was the best soda and ice !
Chicken wings and homemade sauces are on point. Bread rolls made in house. Delicious country fried steak. Pie is homemade.
I have been eating at Bandera for almost four years now and it never disappoints.
Don’t miss out.

We tried this place while driving to the area. We were greeted right away and seated. Elsa our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Ribeye medium and it came out picture perfect. Been to many steak house chains and all they do is cook steak and can never get it right. Here was perfect first time out. My partner got the Catfish which was cooked until flaky and perfect. The sides were incredible, we tried the potato salad, fried okra, mac and cheese and corn casserole. We felt very welcomed and had experience like we were in someone’s home. We will make it a plan to stop there anytime we are passing trough the area. We found the restaurant very clean as were the restrooms.

Literally the best crawfish in Huntsville/the best crawfish I’ve ever had a restaurant. They’re so fresh, always hot, and the price is good! Service is always great, and the beer is always cold! You’ll catch me here at least once a week, especially during crawfish season.
Edit: Was just at Bandera’s, and it was amazing (as per usual) The hype over the chicken fried steak is 100% warranted! So good! Service was 10/10 (as always)! And I tried their margarita for the first time and it was SO FREAKING TASTY! Bandera’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in Huntsville. Don’t let the few bad reviews stop you from trying this place out!

Best burger in Huntsville!! Even came with mo additional charges for onions like another place in town. Big meat patty that was cooked properly and still moist and great jalapeño bun!! Fries were well seasoned.

The service was very nice but the food was not. I opted in for carne asada but was greatly disappointed when I received two marinated stakes uncut. Having to cut the carne asada was quite a pain with the assumption of making a taco with it. My friend also got the fried shrimp and it was stone cold in the middle. If you like any Mexican food do not go here.
