A new place! We’ve never seen this and the sign said, Now Open, so we decided to try it.
I asked how long they’ve been open and was told 6 months!
We had 5 in our party and got served quick and there weren’t a lot of people there. The place was clean and well presented.
I can see why Brisket is in their name. Some of the best brisket I’ve had! The chicken was really good too.
The Mac and cheese was a bit gluey. Needs to be thinner. The baked beans were delicious. The corn bread was light and not over sweet. The coleslaw did not have one over powering flavor like most have. It was actually really good.
I’d highly recommend it.

Their Apple Cider BBQ sauce is the best! I liked the brisket it was tender and had some tastey fat on it! The bbq sauce just made it even better. The creamed corn and French fries were also pretty good. The potato salad wasn’t good and I love almost all potato salads. It’s just didn’t have much zing to it needed something like pepper or some other seasoning. I would go back to this place easily!

I have been a fan of Bandera Brisket since Brian (of the original owners) was operating Bandera from his food truck. I originally discovered him when he would park his truck at the Springville library during the summer of 2017, along with other food trucks on a Friday around dinner time (5pm-ish). Brian would bring his son along to help him operate the truck and take food orders. We instantly fell in love with his brisket and pulled pork sandwiches! He even came to the PG Summerbration once and we enjoyed his food truck there. Brian was personable and friendly! Two years ago, we ordered a smoked turkey from his on a last minute notice and he gladly accommodated our request. The smoked turkey was juIcy, fantastic! So this anticipated visit to this storefront had high expectations for sure and I was looking to see Brian there. When I came in, I learned that Brian is no longer affiliated with this store, and that the recipes used here are not necessarily Brian’s either. I visited at an “off time” between lunch and dinner (around 2pm) on a Saturday and I think that had to do with the freshness of the food – wasn’t so fresh and “hot off” the grill taste. I ordered a 2 meat plate which was brisket and chicken. The brisket was good and tender, but was a bit tough towards the edges. Chicken was decent, but had some fatty pieces to it which I did not care for. The cornbread was good, but I didn’t care for the corn chowder. The corn chowder had a weird taste to it, yes creamy, but a hint of sourness in the after taste. I did let the staff know and they were happy to exchange it for another side. Chose the banana pudding – was the most BLAND banana pudding I’ve ever tasted. Not even sweet at all. I’m not sure about coming back for the food quality, but again that might have something to do with me coming in around 2pm between lunch and dinner, but the time of the day should not affect the quality of the food, right? I’m giving it four stars due to the great customer service – they had that down!

This is probably my favorite BBQ place in Utah. Having just come from visiting Texas— this place tasted just as good if not better than the BBQ we ate there— the brisket and turkey were cooked perfectly. My husband tried the sausages and loved them. We ordered the potatoes, beans, Mac n cheese and French fries. Loved them all. They have lots of sauces to choose from, not just the 2 they have on each table (sweet and regular). Make sure you ask for the hot and the dark chili bbq sauce if you like a little bit of heat. We liked the amount of food you get for your money— definitely cheaper than some other bbq places close by. We will definitely be going back again. #banderabrisket #banderabbq #lfthx #organicad

Creamed Corn and Slaw make me happy.
Good pickle too.
Tried the brisket, pork, turkey and chicken all excellent. Good sauces – the house sauce is best, then mustard.
Best sides hands down – slaw, cream corn, corn chowder, potato salad, baked beans – extra happiness on the side.
Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great service, the employees were super nice. The food is absolutely amazing.
The pulled pork is a little dry, but I put some of the apple cider bbq sauce on it and it’s amazing. The turkey is really juicy, and the chicken has a really smoky flavor.
The brisket has a nice bark on it, and all in all it’s amazing food.
I will definitely be coming back to try out more of the food.

This is really some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. I found the parking to be ample enough, but be careful not to park right in front as you may find it difficult to get out due to the line at Popeye’s drive through. I don’t get that, as I’ve had the chicken sandwich there, and it’s nothing special to me. Anyway, back to the delicious Bandera Brisket!
Upon entering the restaurant, my husband and I were welcomed warmly, and the staff offered to help us as it was our first time here.
You have your choice of marbled or lean for the brisket; I chose marbled. My sides of choice were the Brunswick stew and baked beans, with cornbread as my bread side.
I loved everything I chose! The baked beans were not too sweet, had some sausage in it, and had a overall smoky flavor which was perfect for me.
The Brunswick stew was very good too; being from North Carolina, I’ve had a lot Brunswick stew and some of it has way too many potatoes in it but this wasn’t the case. It was rich and delicious and flavor not too salty and not too sweet.
The corn bread was very good not too dry not too moist and had a delicious pot of honey butter on top that melted into the cornbread itself.
The real star of the show though was the brisket. It had a beautiful black bark chard with a nice ring of smoke. I didn’t regret my choice of marbled over lean; it wasn’t too fatty but tasted perfect and melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this to everyone that likes brisket or barbecue. You won’t regret it.

Pretty good barbecue option! Loved their hot bbq sauce! Sadly they were out of their sausage, so I really only tried their brisket and smoked pork. Really good food, can’t complain.

We LOVE Bandera Brisket. My family and I have come several times, brought out of town family and friends too. Chicken is especially delicious but all the meats are solid! Lots of BBQ places have either good meats or good sides but not both…BANDERA really does have BOTH!! Also, FOH staff is very kind and friendly. Prices and portions are great!!

My husband and I were very excited to try out this place. The photos online made it look so delicious. My husband and I got the brisket and the pulled pork. Immediately we noticed that the brisket was incredibly dry. The employee even mentioned it had been sitting out for quite a while. The pulled pork was VERY stringy, cold, and incredibly dry. We tried to eat around the meat, and only could eat a bit.
The reason I did give some stars is because the sides were good. We really liked the mashed potatoes and garlic bread. They also were MUCH fresher than the meat.
