This place is awesome with great food. The rice and goat, rice and lamb and rice and beef are my go to when visiting here. The staff is super nice and the meals often form with large portions of rice and veggies. Along with that are complimentary vegetable soup and bananas. You’ll definitely leave here stuffed and well worth the money.

While the dining area isn’t too fancy, it has a nice homely chill feel to it and the staff seem to have repeat customers and have a very friendly rapport with them which is nice to see.

I’m still sitting in the restaurant and had to write this review — it’s that good. The food is absolutely amazing: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered the lamb and rice combo, and the lamb was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection.

Service was quick and friendly, and the prices are unbelievable for the portion sizes. One plate could easily feed two people — serious value for your money.

Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

We’re very happy to find a halal restaurant near where we’re staying. This was our first time trying Somalian food. The food taste was delicious and interesting and the portion was generous, easily shareable between two persons. Our dish had lots of beef and very flavorful rice.

The restaurant ambience was also interesting, it felt like going back to 1970-1980.

BEST SOMALIAN FOOD EVER! We were visiting from Texas, and saw this hidden gem near our hotel. We came in and were greeted with such a welcoming environment and great customer service. The quantity and quality of the food was mind blowing. Have been to many Somalian restaurants but this is unmatched. We came there 4 times in a row and every time the food was delicious, filling, and the service was always great. DEFINITELY the go to spot anytime we are in LA.
