I have to been to this location about 13 years ago, I remember it being good back then. I decided to try it again and I was very disappointed. Appetizer sampler was overcooked, basically burnt! Soup was bland and flavorless. Vegetables were not fresh. The crab meat in my soup was gummy and funny looking. I did not eat it. Hubby ordered a lobster dish that came out looking 110% disgusting. Lobster was old. My beef broccoli was not good. The sauce was basically water. Meat was tough and chewy. We just asked for the check and left. Waitress asked if we wanted to go boxes and we declined. We did not eat it. No bueno! Best thing about the experience was the decor and the Thai tea. I really do not like leaving bad reviews, but when it’s this bad I have no choice.

I had the chicken and cream of coconut soup at Ban Thai & Sushi Restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. Every spoonful felt comforting, like something made with real care. I also enjoyed a Thai iced tea, which was fantastic — perfectly balanced and refreshing.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the service kind, and everything came together for a truly lovely meal. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a great experience at this place! Syni was such a great server! I ordered something that I did not like, and she got me a dish I really loved. (At no cost) She was very knowledgeable of the menu and did a wonderful job. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice.

Amazing Thai and sushi restaurant.
The atmosphere is very cozy and feels authentic. I’ve never been to Thailand so I can’t say but I love it.
The service was very friendly and quick. It was very inviting. They allowed us to customize our sushi as well which was great.
The onion soup was super tasty. The ginger salad excellent.
The sushi was fresh made to order and was extremely delicious. The roll made with thin sliced of cucumber instead of rice paper or rice was my favorite.
Definitely will return and I recommend you visit as well!!

Our favorite Thai restaurant in the Tampa area! Last night we went for a birthday celebration and received exceptionally attentive service from Olena. Three of us had Pad Thai that was delicious. Others had sushi rolls. Big portions and Olena boxed the food we took home.
The Thai birthday song was delightful. Beautiful atmosphere. Altogether a very memorable experience!

My mother swears by their sushi selection. Conch, squid, octopus, real sweet shrimp and more. If you’re ever looking for a great selection of sushi that most places don’t carry, this place is great.

First time. It was not busy for dinner about 6pm. The decorations were as expected. Service was OK. Creamy chicken coconut soup was not good. Had nice chicken chunks, raw onions and mushrooms but the broth was like vinegar. No coconut taste. And not creamy. Ordered the Penang curry. Lots of flavor and rice was fluffy light.
Price was about 30 dollars with tax. That’s a bit more than other places.

Sunday lunch after church. The usual four of us. Right in and seated. Ordered Spring Rolls to share. My wife ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, granddaughter chose a Thai Chicken Breast. I cautiously picked the Crispy Duck. I had Peking Duck in China and was disappointed because it was oily. My daughter would share our meals.
Spring rolls with a peanut sauce and were crispy, hot and delicious. Shortly our meals came. The Pineapple Fried Rice was very yummy. The Chicken Breast was yummy. The Crispy Duck was phenomenal! I was very happy with it, as was everyone else. Only issue was I asked for Thai Hot (L3) but it was more L1. I guess they are afraid to up the heat until they know you. I’m sure many people have ordered hot and it was too hot.
Meal was great, food was terrific, service very good. Now I have a new favorite item!

We were seated right away and brought water and menus. My daughter and I both ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken special, Thai hot, and granddaughter ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken.
Chicken & rice broth, hot and with plenty chicken, was brought first. This was followed by hot Spring Rolls with a nice dipping sauce.
Our meals came. Granddaughter loved hers, maybe skipped a few veggies, she is 11. Our Pineapple Fried Rice was delicious, with a nice heat and cool pineapple pieces. Yum!
And of course the ladies had to try the Deep Fried Cheesecake. They loved it! Although my granddaughter preferred the crunch outside.
Beautiful place, relaxing and a good value for the amount of food you get.

Great gluten free variations can be made for select dishes! I ordered the pineapple chicken rice entree as gluten free and it was amazing! The pineapple added a sweet taste to the curry and soy sauce flavors in the dish! Absolutely delightful and one of my favorite rice dishes now!
