The drinks we had were very good will definitely go back. I had the Thai Tea and my son had the honeydew tea. He was a little sad that there were no tapioca balls in the bottom, he did not realize that you had to ask for them .

We stopped by with my family for che and an avocado smoothie. The che itself was okay, but the container lid is designed for drinks, so it’s hard to eat with a spoon without spilling everywhere . My dad ordered the avocado smoothie, but it didn’t have any sugar added. It tasted like plain avocado blended with ice. Customer service was mid.

This was our first visit here and Bambu RVA did not disappoint! We ordered the taro slush with boba (reg sweetness) and thai milk tea with boba (reg sweetness), plus the bubble egg waffle (plain). The staff was friendly, and as we waited for the food, I got to look around and appreciate the decor, all the beautiful live plants, and overall chic design. This is a comfortable place to hang out, especially the basket seats!
The taro slush was so delicious, had a perfect consistency, super smooth, and no ice chunks. The Thai milk tea’s flavor is perfectly balanced. We loved this and will be back!

Don’t walk, run to this place!! The desserts and drinks here are so delightful! Very unique drinks and Vietnamese desserts (che), not your typical bubble tea places. We ordered the Bambu Special (#1)which has a coconut water base and is very light and refreshing! With 260 calories it made my tummy happy! We also got the strawberry yonami (yogurt based), and my 7 year old inhaled it. It was also very flavorful and the yogurt tasted very different and so much better than any of the other places. Oh and the pandan waffle and egg waffle were heavenly!! My favorite childhood dessert Bamboo Favorite (#10) were also so so good!! The lady who helped us was very friendly too. Overall A++++!

this spot is a cute hidden gem. i got the thai tea with boba, it was sweet without being overly sugary and not so milky that it drowns out the flavor of the tea. this place has lots of board games and cozy chairs. It would be a cute place to study, get some work done or hang out with friends.
