I’ve tasted Chinese food in Vegas, LA, San Fran, Tokyo, and Taipei before. No joke, this restaurant has the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had. The menu is large and diverse, with some of the freshest chicken, beef, and veggies I’ve ever had. Generous, hearty portions. Great prices. It’s authentic to genuinely present some of the best dishes of Chinese culture, but suitable enough for American and other diverse palettes. Every dish melts in your mouth. My goal is eventually try every dish on the menu. There’s a reason this place has been open for 20+ years!! A hidden gem of Chinese food in Roseville and the Greater Sacramento area. I almost didn’t want to write this review so I can gate keep this amazing place, but they deserve 10 stars.

Delicious honey walnut shrimp and amazing chow mein. This is the best Chinese food in roseville. We got take out and the service was wonderful and quick.

We ordered food for 37 people for a large gathering to watch the football game at a home in Rocklin, and we were not disappointed. We ended up getting 2 trays of appetizers (1 each of egg rolls and pot stickers), 1 tray of chow mein, and 3 trays of dishes (1 each of sesame chicken, sweet n sour pork, and mongolian beef). This ended up being the perfect amount of food for our group, though we did make our own white rice (6 cups) to go with it. The Sweet n Sour Pork was the biggest hit, but we enjoyed them all.

The food here was really not good. We had chicken chow main which had fried cabbage in it and because of the smell and juices of it the whole dish just tasted rotten. The mushrooms and chicken were so heavy to eat. It would be much better if they served steamed rice with it. Not to mention the chicken in both dishes was hard to find. Our server didn’t really know the menu so could answer any of the questions we had about the dishes before we ordered. Low quality place. Note: None of their drinks are free refill, not even soda.

Ordered honey walnut, general chows spicy chicken ,fried rice, chow mein and spring rolls togo , the portions were good but chicken was cold and soggy. Paid extra for white meat and didn’t receive white meat. I literally got there with in 15 mins so I am not sure if it’s packaging but both of the chicken dishes were so soggy and breading or flour on chicken was mushy. When I called in order the guy was nice w good service , It is unfortunate I never leave reviews but meal wasn’t cheap and we didn’t enjoy it. Maybe eating in restaurant would have tasted better or better togo boxes/packing.

On December 8, 2024, I visited Bambu Garden with my family to celebrate a special occasion—our anniversary with my husband. We ordered several dishes, including Mongo BF Chow Mein, and took the leftovers home in containers.
Unfortunately, while eating this dish at home, I discovered a piece of metal wire in the food. This is an extremely dangerous issue that could have caused serious harm. I documented the incident with a photo and have the receipt to confirm my visit.
What makes this situation even more alarming is that I was eating this meal with my two young children, aged 2 and 10, who were sharing the food with me. If either of them had swallowed this piece of wire, it could have resulted in a fatal outcome.
To make matters worse, our experience at the restaurant itself was far from pleasant. Despite the fact that we were celebrating an important occasion, the staff treated us with noticeable rudeness. The server was impolite, almost hostile, and placed the plates on the table in a disrespectful and careless manner.
After discovering the metal wire, I attempted to address the issue by calling the restaurant.
However, the response from the staff was appalling:
• On my first call, the employee hung up immediately when I started explaining the problem.
• On my second and third calls, the employee either refused to notify the owner or claimed the owner was unavailable, then hung up again.
• When I asked for contact information for the manager or owner, the employee also refused and ended the call.
This kind of unprofessional and dismissive behavior is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a serious food safety issue that could have endangered children’s lives.
Given the staff’s refusal to allow me to contact the restaurant’s management directly and the complete lack of contact information on the restaurant’s website (apart from a single phone number), I am left with no choice but to escalate this issue to higher authorities. I intend to report this incident to the relevant food safety agencies to ensure a thorough investigation into this restaurant’s practices.
My family and I will absolutely not be returning to Bambu Garden, and I urge others to exercise caution when considering dining here.

Very solid Chinese restaurant that offers a good selection of lunch specials. The lunch includes salad, soup, a large egg roll, an entree and choice of rice. Mongolian beef was very tasty and the lemon chicken was made just right. Soup choices for lunch were egg flower or hot and sour soup.

This was my first time here. I saw that they had good reviews and they were accurate. I’ll start with the decor. Everything is clean and classy and very comfortable. Our waiter (V) was very attentive and was always on top of what we needed. The food was amazing. The imperial rolls are light and crispy. The fried rice was just the right amount sticky without being clumpy. The tofu (yes tofu) was the perfect consistency. It was light and crispy on the outside and had a creamy texture and not too dense. The general chicken had some heat to it but not too much to ruin the flavors. Even the tea (oolong this time – but there’s 3 options) was delicious. I will definitely put this on a short list for spots to hit when I’m driving through. Very impressed!
